Petit Palace Hotel Tres

The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is brilliant, personal service offered, good choice of food and very well presented. The breakfast timings are flexible and the breakfast area was never crowded. The rooms are well cleaned and very well maintained.

The restaurant food selection is limited compared to how it was pre Covid. Hot tapas/food stops at 4.30 which means going out for food or dinner. In previous years hot food was available for evening meals.

Exceptional stay at Petit Palace in the heart of Palma. 5 mins walk from some of the best restaurants and all the main attractions. Beautiful courtyard to lounge and have the most superb buffet breakfast and a fantastic spacious room with a view of the courtyard. Also there is a great rooftop with a pool to relax in after a day spent exploring.

Would be great if there was more options for dinner and drinks as can be quiet. Maybe a small bar on rooftop or some music up there would be a great addition.

everything except that half way through our stay, they changed the air conditioning fan setting from a normal and effective fan speed for a small unventilated room which was otherwise absolutely fine to a very slow one which caused the room to become stuffy and most importantly so hot that it was impossible to sleep properly for the remaining nights of our stay. This action during our stay [without notice being given although that would not have been any use] was an unacceptable issue with what was otherwise a hotel we would otherwise use again. The fan speed setting involved was apparently hotel wide and given the obvious different guest preferences needs to be selectable at the room NOT controlled centrally given that it makes such a difference to otherwise unventilated rooms at night such as the one we had.

Our room was very comfortable, clean, and the room service to keep it that way everyday, was excellent. The breakfast is buffet style, and the staff are very accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect, with the markets, taxis, and a myriad of very good bars and restaurants all literally on the doorstep. This is an ideal oasis for a city break in Palma.

There is a tiny plunge pool on the roof terrace, so its not really an option if you wanted to spend a day sunning yourself up there.

Excellent location in the very heart of old town, next to Catedral Santa Maria de Palma and surrounded by a large number of restaurant; our double room was on the 5th floor facing the famous cocktail place Abaco(cool place, worth to enjoy a drink in the evening there) and was in spite of the late opening hours of Abaco quite reasonably quiet; breakfast was also good- fresh juices and fruits, tasty cakes but of course tortilla/jamon and delicious cheese selection has to be mentioned,too. Staff is very supportive and friendly, both at the reception and bar/ breakfast - nothing is too much to help the guests feel “at home”😀We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a few nice days to discover beautiful Palma.

The hotel's entrance is on a side street & is deceiving arriving late at night. The reception was bright & friendly. Room was second floor accessed by lift & spacious & air conditioned. Bathroom was spacious with Molton Brown toiletries. Fridge stocked with water. Free safe & normal coat hangers not those thief proof hangers. Tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast served 7.30-11am to suit all with jugs of chilled juices & waters-lemon & orange slices with ice. Yoghurt with huge range of nuts, seeds, granola etc. Cava in ice bucket for those celebrating. Cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cakes. Cathedral is a short walk away. Good selection of restaurants outside hotel-very good tapas bar opposite. Hotel restaurant has tapas too & friendly bar staff. View from the roof terrace across Palma is great-perfect photo opportunity. Pool looked inviting & plenty of sunloungers.

Beautiful, spacious suite; gorgeous private roof terrace with jacuzzi and views of cathedral. It was our first holiday with our 5 month old baby and the hotel was very welcoming, providing a good quality cot. The suite had perfect facilities: 2 bathrooms and a large living area so we could have an evening while baby slept next door. Room service also was very good which was helpful with a baby! The breakfast was good quality and we could eat inside or in the beautiful courtyard. The location is brilliant, very central.

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel

All the staff were very friendly and looked after us. Cynthia makes an amazing Mojito. The courtyard is a little Oasis away from heat of the day. Amazing location, everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and there's plenty of great bars and restaurants around the hotel. The bed was huge, and super comfy and the air conditioning was very welcome. Fantastic buffet breakfast, catering for all pallets.

The ensuite had a curtain separating it from the room, rather than a door. This would probably have been fine, if the wc had a solid door rather than a sliding glass one, which was only fixed at the top. An iron in the room would have been useful for us.

Great location in the heart of the Old Town but still lovely and quiet bedrooms. Really fabulous breakfast, the choice was amazing. Lots of pillows on the beds so you have a choice of firm or soft. Moulton Brown re-fillable products in the bathroom so no need to pack shower gel, shampoo or conditioner, hand wash or hand cream. Good quality hairdryer, robes and towels, generic slippers also provided. Safe, coffee/tea making facilities in the room plus mini bar/fridge, TV and air conditioning. Shower very big and great water pressure. Roof top plunge pool and solarium has great view of the Cathedral and plenty of sun-loungers. Beach/Pool towels were also available. Outdoor terrace downstairs was a lovely area to have a drink before or after dinner although bar closes at 11pm. Antonio was our barman and went above and beyond to look after us. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Not a huge amount of wardrobe space and no drawers. Another case of lovely design over practicality of guests needs. All glass doors, albeit opaque, in bathroom area, no place for anyone who may be shy over sharing toilet noises! Having to use room key to use the lift is way too faffy. If someone wanted to get to the bedrooms who shouldn't be there, they could use the stairs.

My main like was the staff. Top class service at all levels, nothing to much trouble, In particular May who was exceptional in help, Gabriella in restaurant and the barman whose name unfortunately I forgot, top class barman who knew how to make anything.
