INNSiDE by Meliá Palma Bosque

Innside By Melia Palma Bosque is located in a quiet area of Palma, about 20 minutes’ walk from Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporani de Palma, 25 minutes’ walk from Llotja de Palma and 30 minutes’ walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma. Of course you can use a taxi - the taxi station is suitably situated at the end of the street. In addition, the bus stop is near the hotel. There is a 24 hour front desk assistance. The staff is friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Carmen who is very kind and supportive :) In my opinion, the rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, clean and equipped with everything you need (hair dryer, bath towels, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels). The furniture is modern, functional and comfortable. It is very nice that the minibar is free and offers beer and soft drinks, coffee, tea. The rooms with a view to the pool have a private terrace. There are two sufficiently large swimming pools - indoor and outdoor. The breakfast is rich and varied, suitable for all tastes. I would recommend and stay again at Innside By Melia Palma Bosque.

There is nothing I didn’t like. Only two remarks: Wi Fi connection is not stable and the hotel hosts corporate or other events and because of that sometimes there are noisy groups of people.

It was a very nice hotel, nice breakfast and restaurant overall. The pool bar has an excellent barman, the cocktails were very nice. The rooms were nice and tidy. To visit Castell de Bellver, it’s super close so thats sure a plus.

I did have a few dislikes, the location was for me not amazing, to walk to Palma it was straight away 20min and to the train station 30-40min walk. So if you plan on lots of sight seeing and don’t want to pay a taxi to the station everytime I’d find a hotel closer to the city. At the pool the sun was gone by 3pm cause of the building placement, so that was for sure a pity. Also, there were not a lot of sunbeds, it sometimes took some waiting to get some.

The facilities were great. Friendly staff. Walking distance from centre.

I think our room was close to a room where the cleaning staff stored their equipment because around 7h30 we were awoken by a door that kept opening and closing. The rooms need better soundproofing (seems like there is none at all). The indoor pool is nice but it is a pity it only opened at 10am. I would have liked to go for a morning swim before starting my day. There was a mistake with our first room. It was not prepared for new guests (the bed was not made up). But we received a new room swiftly so the problem was solved immediately.

Shower cabin was not watertight. After shower the floor in room was very wet. This because there is space between glass door and glass wand. They did not use silicone strip to cover the hinges.

The breakfast wat delicious and there was enough choice for everybody. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great and flexible to help us in any situation. We arrived much earlier than expected, however the staff was quick to help us to our rooms even though it was before checkin time. The pool was great, with decent food and drinks.

The amount of beds at the pool were completely full before 12. I couldn't see any space for any other options, however this was still a negative as it ment we often didn't go to the pool since there was no place for us to relax.

The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, they even let us check in at 11am instead of 3pm which was great. The bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever had in a hotel and the free beer / drinks is a really nice addition. Great location, very close to Santa Catalina which is a great location for food and drinks. Would highly highly recommend this hotel! Must try Mosaic Cafe round the corner of you do book!

Only a couple of really really minor points, we stayed in the middle of September and still felt like there were not enough sun loungers per guests and the pool area didn’t open until 10am which seemed a bit late, especially for any sun worshippers. Also note that the showers in the rooms are in the middle of the room and do show the outline of the person showering, not sure if different if two single beds are selected, but would not be ideal if you were on holiday with someone you didn’t want to see shower!

Nice location, many services available like Sauna, turkish bath, nice gym and very good breakfast with many options. Staff was kind, specially the staff in the morning during the breakfast.

something that i didn't like is arriving back at the room at 8pm and finding the staff cleaning our room, i don't think is the right time to do it. Pity that is out of the control of the staff but a family hotel like this shouldn't allow guest to smoke w**d in front of the hotel, for a moment i felt i was in Amsterdam. By the pool after 4pm there is no sun, and the sunbeds are not so many, if you have the room at the ground floor like us in font of the pool you have 2 sun chairs but you can't smoke in front of you room.

didn’t like the fact this morning there was a conference and many food items not available to us. Despite the fact that a huge lunch was being prepared for said conference. Made to feel less important as a holiday guest. I mean; no aioli, lettuce or chicken for a Caesar salad at highly rated hotel is really not good.I would also mention that breakfast is very chaotic and to only have 2 coffee/tea machines for the size of the hotel is ridiculous. the queues for hot drinks is also ridiculous and annoying. I would suggest another 2 machines or maybe old school table service just for hot drinks.

The breakfast was delicious with huge options daily, the hotel had different types of alternative milk which is great The pool was amazing and always clean so were the rooms Drinks by the pool are delicious

The lack of communication through booking massages led to us having a problem with check in and had to pay for extra night but it doesn’t change anything about the quality of the hotel - just wish staff at the desk handled it differently

The hotel is really modern, clean and fresh. Spacious and with excellent facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. Location provides great access to the city, but the area itself is a bit non descript.

Breakfast wasn't the best for vegetarians. Plus, we arrived downstairs an hour into service and some of the basics of breakfast - eggs, sausages, beans - we cold or unavailable. That said, the range on offer was good. They could just offer a little more hot food to vegetarians.
