Hotel Las Ruedas

Lots of onsite parking at the hotel. We ate in the bar/restaurant in the evening where we had amazing food and great hospitality. We had a suite which was far more comfortable that we had expected. The shower was good. The breakfast is something else. Lots to choose from, you won't leave on an empty stomach in the morning.

The hotel has limited working hours for the staff. We arrived and got our key and showed the room no problem. In the morning for breakfast was a little different as no staff, you use your room key to access the hotel, then another door to get into the room where breakfast is served. You then have to open another door which does not say "breakfast room" or anything and just keep the faith that behind that door is a beautiful selection of breakfast goodies!

Family managed hotel and restaurant. We had a perfect stay, with my wife (gluten free) and our son (18 months). Rooms are clean and comfortable, equipped as a country hotel. Sureveillance cameras, propierty resident at the structure, restaurant with a full menu reach in meat, fish, vegetables and even pasta and rice. And the cook..... very professional! Nice list of wines!

We just passed 3 days.... next time, will book for a week! Itbis a 3 stars hotel ok? Impossible to ask for more.

The hotel was well located with good easy access to Santander ferry 40km away. The staff were helpful. The room was clean and fresh with traditional furniture. Free private parking available. There was a continental breakfast included, served in an attractive dining room.

The bathroom was very small and cramped. The hotel is located in a separate town away from the town of Laredo, which caused difficulties in finding it. The hotel restaurant did not serve meals in the evening until 21.00.

Very friendly staff! Very tasty local food in the hotel's restaurant. The hotel is a mid way between Bilbao and Santander, so we could stay there and visit lots of great places within a day.

The hotel is next to the roundabout, so it's a bit noisy, but not too much

Very convenient overnight stop j just off the motorway. The hotel restaurant was closed on the Monday of our arrival, but there was a very good bar a short walk away which did food from 7pm. Good hotel breakfast in the morning .

The room was a bit warm overnight, but a bit noisy from traffic if opened windows.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff/owners were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The evening meal was pleasantly filling and comforting as we had travelled from Valencia that day and contributed to a relaxing evening. On-site parking was safe and secure. A nice touch was the complementary toiletries.

Our only gripe - the window in the bedroom was a little small.

Very nice rooms, good breakfast, parking available. The rooms were separate from reception and were accessed through a really unusual quirky passage way. Good value for money. Great beaches nearby at Berria, Santona and Laredo.

Not very many restaurants within walking distance and the hotel restaurant wasn't opening until 9pm which was a little late for us.

welcome was good as the receptionist remembered us from previous stays.Room was very clean,restaurant was a bit noisy with the local drinking at the bar. would like to see someone at breakfast so that they could help us to operate the coffee machine. as

None been there at the breakfast room.

We were welcomed by a very friendly lady on reception. Room was clean and lovely and warm. Comfy bed and great shower. Great for an overnight stop when we are heading to and from the ferry to the UK. There are a couple of good bars/restaurants nearby.

Wifi in this particular room was poor. We have stayed in the hotel before and had no problem with the wifi. New coffee machines ...not practical for a hotel breakfast room ...

Massive family suite in the annexe. Modern, roomy en suite, with very comfy beds. Excellent Accomodation, restaurant and bar. ALL STAFF extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Very handy for Santander or Bilbao ferry ports. Loved it!

Not a great deal else to do in the area.
