Hotel Distrito Oeste

The room was light and spacious, internet worked well, there was a small supermarket and lots of cafes closeby. It was mostly quiet and I was able to focus on work well. It's not super close to the city centre but there's a direct bus.

Only minor things - the bathroom drain was making funny noises at times and kinda smelled, I couldn't regulate temperature in the small fridge and my food pretty much froze there, one night I had very noisy neighbours, for the whole unit there was just a tiny bin in the bathroom.

Clean comfortable modern hotel. The location is about 15 minutes walk to Ondaretta Beach. The old town area is a 30/40 minute stroll along the lovely promenade. If you dont want to walk there are plenty of buses on the main road behind the hotel that take you into the city centre in about 10 minutes 3.70 euros return. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. We have booked to stay again later in the year.

Nothing to dislike.

It's in a calm residential area, we can get to the old town and the long distance bus station in less than 20 minutes by frequent public buses almost at the door of the hotel. There are supermarkets, decent cafes and restaurants nearby. Our room faces the back street, it has large windows, the room's aircon is super quiet which is a blessing. The ensuite bathroom is exceptionally large, in fact we would prefer it a little smaller so the room itself could be a bit larger.

I hope that tea bags are supplied in the room. The room shows some wear and tear but this isn't a deal breaker. I hope the cleaning staff can pay more attention as there were dusty corners in the room on the day we checked in, and the dusty corners remained dusty even after the room was made during our stay.

The white sheets and perfectly white towels. Beds were confortable, there was coffee and tea and apples for free. Also the toiletries were good and free. The room temperature was good. It was just a room to sleep and rest comfortably.

The size of the room. It was very small for 3 people. We rented the 4 beds room and there was barely space to move around. There was mildew in the shower and the neighborhood was very far from the center of the city. The bus stop was right in front of it though. The walls could do with a little painting since they were all scratched and dirty.

Clean modern hotel with no noise at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. The centre and Old Town area are a 40 minute stroll along a lovely promenade. The No 5 Boulevard bus takes you to Old Town area if you dont want to walk. We have stayed here a few times and not been disappointed. Plenty of choice with Continental Breakfast. The surrounding area has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. Although not in the city centre we feel the location is good for getting away from the tourist crowds that pack the centre.

Nothing to dislike.

Modern, clean hotel with all necessary amenities and friendly personnel. The room was a bit smallish for 4 but ok for 2 nights. Good bus connections to city center.

Breakfast was a bit poor, essentially only bread, cheese and salami and corn flakes. Some eggs and veggies would have been great. Also the location is a bit far from the center. There are buses nearby though. Parking at the hotel might be a problem especially during high season.

Clean and comfortable room in new hotel in the W part of town (as the name implies). Bars/shops nearby - to my surprise the bars/cafes were open at 7am on a Sunday. Away from the main tourist areas, but close to the Lugaritz railway station, and a bus stop more or less outside.

Not the fault of the hotel, but I asked Google Maps for walking instructions, and they sent me over a hill which is quite unnecessary - walking round the hill is a bit longer but easier. I was there on a Saturday night, when all hotels are full or charging high prices. On a weekday, this is probably a good value place to stay.

Clean, comfortable modern hotel. No noise at night. Staff were polite and helpful. We had a problem trying to buy a parking ticket from the machine across the road from hotel. The boy at reception took the time to come over to the machine and helped us to get a ticket. The location is a 10-15 minute walk to Ondaretta Beach and the lovely promenade. The Old Town area is a 30-40 minute stroll along the promenade. There are plenty of buses going into the Old Town Area at a return cost of 3.70 euros. The immediate area has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. We have stayed at the hotel a few times and would recommend to friends.

Continental breakfast could have been included in the price of the room.

Very clean, new facility, tidy, efficient check in. Frankly this hotel is under rated for a 2 star. We were happily surprised by the quality of the hotel. The hotel location is not too far from city center. Plenty of shops around and a pharmacy. Parking space available at very economical prices.

Really clean and tidy hotel. Very good room size with very comfortable beds. Free coffee and tea plus fruit with a lounge on the 1st floor with microwave plus a small gym. Quiet street at night plenty of parking 3 euros a day. Walk in shower, free toiletries. Very good value for the cost, better than some 4 star hotels. Highly recommend friendly staff also and a great cafe next door for breakfast.
