Hotel Los Ángeles Denia

the rooms were lovely and the hotel had a lovely laid back vibe - it felt far away from the August holiday crush in other beach areas and we really enjoyed the hotel.

We came for 2 nights at the start of our honeymoon, and on checking in, the staff didn't mention at all that the restaurant were having a special BBQ night and that booking was essential. It felt like the hotel reception and restaurant operated completely separately. When we came down for dinner we were told that there was no space for us to eat because it was all fully booked because of the BBQ night...and then also the restaurant along the beach was also fully booked. We were quite sad that our first night of honeymoon we missed the lovely BBQ and dancing at the hotel and instead had to walk for ages to try and find somewhere to eat!

The quality of the food at Breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and spotless. The housekeeping team were excellent , they were friendly and cleaned our room every day to a really high standard.. The staff were very helpful and professional. We were very impressed with the high standard of service. The hotel is right on the beautiful beach and near a number of restaurants.

The pool area could definitely be improved. The sun loungers were not very comfortable. I think some padding or cushions on them would improve this. The lunch service outside in the Hotel was slow. It was always extremely busy. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. If you want to go into Denia town it's about a 5k journey. Bus ( 1.50) or taxi journey. ( Between 11 and 15 euro) Just be aware that it is extremely busy you might have to wait up to an hour for a taxi and it can be difficult to find a Taxi back.

The hotel is beautiful with a lot of tasteful, charming personal touches ....it is clearly not part of a chain! It's pretty much on the beach, breakfast was very good, and the location - about 10 min by rental car to the Centre of Denia - was great for our purposes.

Can't really think of anything. Note we travelled in early March and had rooms on sea side of hotel ... the terrace was right underneath us but very quiet during the night which allowed to sleep with the window open which was lovely ...not sure this would be possible in the summer as probably too noisy!

Classic, charming hotel overlooking the beach. Room extremely clean , again classic, tasteful decor. Very comfortable. All areas of the hotel , the dining room , reception , entrance and terrace are extremely well maintained . Relaxing location. For some it would be a bit too far from the town of Denia. Good selection for breakfast. Pleasant , professional staff. Easy parking.

On the Saturday afternoon of our stay the hotel had a private function which unfortunately meant these clients were enjoying their afternoon, from 2 until 8pm (when we left the room to go to dinner ) directly under our balcony. Their talking and smoking were impossible to ignore. It would have been impossible for us to sit on our balcony or to enjoy a siesta.

The hotel [right on the beach] is a real beauty compared to the awful concrete lodgings all around the Costa Blanca. It is very well decorated, with a lot of style and elegance. It is away from mass tourism, so lovely for a relaxing stop/overnight/ vacation. We booked a room with sea view and it was a gem. Despite being above the restaurant/bar it was very quiet and relaxing: we had no noises or hassle in the evening or night. The balcony was also well furnished with comfortable chairs and table. The room itself was little (...actually the beds were too big!!) but also very comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathroom was spacious and practical. A plus is the free parking with some spots in the shadows. Breakfast buffet was lovely: simple but quality. Kind and courteous staff.

Over all great place and the view was amazing

Restaurant staff terrible, have to ask 3 to 5 times to bring something, we wanted to order more wine and few other drinks in the evening with a meal but never got so i just got the bill for food and left, so basically they put a show like they working like always in a rush but doing absolutely nothing. Some of the staff i can say does the job correct but 70% dont so something to look over for the management. Girls that work at the reception are great.

Exceptional location right on the beach, amazing breakfast that you can have inside or outside tables by the water. The ocean view room had a large balcony with double sliding doors for a great breeze. The staff we're so helpfull for any questions & the barista made a great cafe latte for us each morning.

Really, there was nothing we disliked & I would definately stay there again.

We loved the location, right on the beach. Booked a sea view, which was exactly that. Balcony came with small table and comfy wicker chairs, and two in-house deckchairs for use on the beach. Beach towels also provided for use at the pool or beach.

There was no introduction booklet to the available facilities in the rooms, which would have been helpful. The rooms would have benefitted from a coffee machine/ or kettle to complete the home from home stay. Beach bar menu prices were a little high and generally, waiting staff in restaurant and beach bar were extremely busy and overstretched at evening dinner times. Maybe another couple of employees would help that busy shift during July/August holiday season.

Weather and location. Hotel guests were mostly Spanish which was nice.

Information provided by the hotel could have been more comprehensive. We booked half board but it was not made clear to us at all what that entailed when we checked in. Service at dinner was spotty on one or two nights with dishes not arriving with the accompaniment and we had to wait. Dinner prices are high for what you receive.

The whole experience, everything! we have been coming to the area for many years as my brother lived just a block away so every year we have a family reunion (except tor the past two years) it becomes more magical each year we come!

For me personally my sea view room wasn’t as nice as I expected compared with the rooms my family had so I was a bit disappointed especially as it was a special treat. Wonder if when we come next year if it is possible to pre book certain rooms as I am familiar with the hotel layout.
