Hotel El Raset

El Raset is a small hotel with a perfect location opposite the port. Access to the beach and the city center is excellent. The rooms are pleasantly furnished and clean. No mustiness or anything like that. The beds are good, we slept very well. The breakfast menu is always repeated, but you can always choose a salty or sweet version. We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and it was a pleasant experience. I even think that the hotel has a higher level than 3*. The biggest asset of this hotel are its employees. Extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating staff!

If we tell you what we like, the hotel will be full next time we want to reserve! The position is without parallel. You are by the water and can walk everywhere. The rooms, though smallish, are really well appointed. A small but really decent shower, bidet and all the toiletries and amenities you might have forgotten; a safe, good lighting, TV, a mini fridge and very comfortable beds. We had a view of the marina which was very pleasant. The self-service breakfast was absolutely faultless. Copious, well presented, a good variety of excellent patisseries, hams, breads, eggs, cereals, juices, fruit and high-end capsule coffee. Though working in a small space, the staff were attentive and rapid at cleaning away the tables to enable more breakfasters a pleasant start to their day. As the car was full of goods we were transporting, we reserved a space in their nearby garage too for a supplement of Euro15. No problem there - once you have worked out the one-way road system to access the garage!

I have one small comment - which didn't affect my husband: there were long head hairs in a few places that hadn't been removed, and a half used shower gel on the bath. Ecological sharing? Forgetfulness? We don't like wastage so used the gel. I cannot invent any more criticisms!

Great position overlooking the harbour area. Balconies in the room were small but a great feature. Comfortable bed. Nice room and bathroom. Good choices on the breakfast menu and great coffee! Secure garage just down the street. A very pleasant stay!

The only downside for me was the bright lights outside in the street. Obviously no fault of the hotel. It wouldn't stop me going back.

All good, restaurant part of the hotel, perfect. Parking a bit difficult. Right opposite the beach. The best part was breakfast was till 11, very civilised, no rushing to make a 10 am deadline for breakfast when you are on holiday. Plus they had English speaking tv, very rare these days in hotels in Spain. The full English breakfast was incredible as was the coffee!

The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the Marina. Check in was very speedy and although we were early we were allowed to go to our room. The room was spacious - beautiful bathroom and towels and the shower was fabulous - very powerful. Breakfast - continental with a few hot items was very well presented. The lady in charge was lovely - very helpful . There is some road noise but it didn’t annoy at nighttime. I would return in a heartbeat . Lovely walk to the Marina across the road .

Great location, comfortable bed, and space to move about in the room. Never had the choice of three different shower heads in the wash area before!

Appeared to be a good selection for breakfast but did not receive what we'd asked for. It was a bit pot luck what was sent from the kitchen.

Great location, very friendly staff, good breakfast included in price. Useful information booklet about Denia, which is a very nice town with a superb selection of restaurants and bars, even in mid-winter

Breakfast was excellent, as was the location. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Not any real space to socialise or have a drink with friends. There did seem to be a space being renovated though.

The room was beautiful with comfortable beds and lovely views. Breakfast was great, order off the menu not buffet. Staff were accommodating and friendly.

Bathroom was small and shower not the best. There was no where to hang your wet swimsuits.

The location is fantastic, in the middle of the boulevard, restaurants and with a perfect view on the Harbour.

The hotel is a bit noisy in the mornings, so if you are a long sleeper, bring your earplugs.
