Hotel Fuerte Conil-Resort

It’s situated in different levels, so interesting to walk around, and the view to the ocean is stunning. Very green territory. The visitors were mostly German and Spanish, no russians. So everybody was very polite and calm. Food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely tasty. Staff members were amazing - friendly and helpful. Everythting (room, territory) was really tidy. Large, beautifully decorated rooms. No noisy concerts and entertainment in the evenings - great! We could peacefully enjoy the sounds of birds and the ocean.

Nothing, everything was perfect

The breakfast was extremely well organised from arriving to being seated and then clearing the table once you had finished that course. Plenty of staff to deal with plenty of people, if something was missing it was no trouble for them to provide e.g. teaspoon. The room was clean and tidy. The location is ideal if you want to walk into town.

We found the room to be very dark, not ideal to apply make up nor in front of a mirror, only in the bathroom. Also the hairdryer is one that you need to keep the button pressed which is difficult if you want to style your hair as you only have one hand free.

The breakfast was excellent - a complete and varied offering, with attentive and professional staff. The room was as expected. The location was perfect, adjacent to the beach.

As our flight was delayed, we arrived at 2am. We were disappointed that your reception staff were not able to offer us more than water. At least, we expected coffee to be available - suggest tea/coffee making facility be available in the room to cover this? The curtains in the room did not keep enough light out - I was awoken at dawn on most morning when the room became less dark. WE would have liked an extra 'easy' chair in the room - only 1 chair for 2 people? As a UK visitor, I appreciated watching BBC News, but I would also liked to have been able to listen to BBC World Service Radio through the TV.

We stayed one night..but we had a great experience..The animation people were amazing (Mercedes and Enrique especially were entertaining guests with aqua gym class and a traditional sangria master class, all "for free" and making it fun). Really good hearty experience! We also found very very good the restaurant El Buche. It probably had the best piece of tuna we had in Conil, which is really unexpected (the "parpatana") and it is not easy to satisfy "some people". The chef apparently also won some second place prize on the city competition for best tuna tapa (so it is written on the menu) so this place will be a must when going back to Conil. We also had the breakfast which was amazing and had a lot of (Spanish) specialties.

The food selection at the breakfast and dinner buffet was fantastic. something for all diets. it is also very conscious of the recent pandemic and everything felt very clean and you were not fighting for space as you book a time slot to eat. I had a really good massage while I was there too so would recommend the spa. the staff were all fantastic and as there is more than one building there is a choice of venue for the evening too as there have shows each night. the beach is a short walk down the cliffs and there are several chiringuitos to choose from,

Breakfast was fab!! The staff were very friendly and the customer service was really good! The rooms are lovely and facilities excellent. Everything else was absolutely brilliant! The pools, space, facilities, bars, sunbeds, service was lovely and I would definitely stay again! They even called us when we checked in and asked if everything was up to scratch! Very impressive!

The beds are two singles beds pushed together which is always frustrating. I don't think you should be able to charge for a king size when its just two singles beds pushed together. Needless to say I slept in the crack the whole time! I would say the one thing which was lacking was the SPA facilities and you should be able to go for longer than an hour as its such a small SPA. The staff weren't overly friendly and even bossy at times. Also 12 Euros for parking each day is a complete rip off! If you are a guest at the hotel, you should get parking included!

Lovely friendly and cheerful staff, all of them from reception through to the bars and restaurants. A real delight! Nice Andalusian style building with lovely views sloping down to the sea. Excellent food quality throughout, great variety in the buffets.

They could maybe put a kettle in the room to make tea/ coffee. The air con was not switched on for the season yet but a fan was offered (it was unusually hot for April )

Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent.

- The gym (fitness room) was really poor, I had not seen something so old-fashioned and poorly equipped in a 4-star hotel ever. It does not create a good impression at all to have a such a sports facility. - The room security vault can only be used under a daily fee. It is first time that I get asked for a fee for this service (in the room, without any further assistance by the hotel).

The staff was extremely welcoming & friendly. We felt at home straight away. Short walk to a fabulous beach as well as into town. Great spread at breakfast & lovely food in different areas of hotel. Excellent COVID measures throughout our stay.

My only neg comment has to be the lack of enough sun beds & shade on the beach for such a big hotel. By the second day we realised we needed to rush down to the beach before 9.45am & wait by umbrella for the staff to arrive & allocate area. There were already people queuing up! Not something one wants to stress about whilst on holiday to be honest. Having said this we would definitely go back. This time with our own beach gear 🤷🏻‍♀️Hopefully this issue 🥰will be addressed 🤞🏼

A fantastic hotel close to the city centre of Conil. Althoug it is a huge resort, it's quiet and have a very relaxed atmosphere. The gardens and pool area are beautiful.

Not much, really. Our room was facing a football playground, so a bit noisy from time to time. If we come back, we will not stay close to that - but a minor issue. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
