Iberostar Albufera Playa

I highly recommend to take a room with the prestige extra. The pool on the rooftop had a great view, it was super to have some drinks and snacks there for free (if you have the Prestige bonus). Beautiful beach and quiet area around the hotel. Even though the hotel is very big and has many rooms and also families, at night it was super quiet, the only thing we could hear were the waves from the ocean and the leaves of the palmtrees in the wind - so nice! The beds were very comfy and the staff was very friendly.

It's such a big hotel, so the dining room was indeed very loud (luckily our prestige bonus was a bit of a lifesaver, it enabels you to eat in a more quiet area of the room). The spa (1 sauna and a jacuzzi) are next to an indoor pool with many kids, don't excpect a wellness/spa experience there.

The would place this hotel at the upper end of the 4 star group. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are well furnished and clean, there is plenty of space around the pools and communal areas, and the beach is close. Staff were polite and extremely friendly. There was something for all ages. The hotel were able to provide good gluten free options for one of the persons in our group. The kitchen and catering team (including Mikel, Jose, Maria, etc) were very accommodating. The hotel manager (Omar) was almost always present and very approachable. We were a group of 29 persons. The senior staff (Mila, Cristina, Isabel, etc) were excellent in helping us plan the trip and in ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. I would like to name many more staff for their excellent service however the list would never end. Many thanks to the entire hotel staff team for making our trip one which we will never forget!

The staff were excellent. They accommodated and catered for our every need. It would be difficult to list the individual staff members here as virtually all of them deserve immense credit (from the hotel manager, Omar, down to the kitchen staff). Omar was ever present at lunch / dinner. The hotel is definitely at the higher end of the 4 star standard.

It is difficult to think of something which could be criticised.

Superb hotel with lots of sports activities, entertainment for kids, beautiful pools, beach, fantastic food and excellent staff. We had few extra requests regarding the room which were all accommodated perfectly. Special thanks to Francesca from reception. I would definitelly recommend the hotel anytime!

The rooms need a bit of update. But as we spent all days out, it didnt bother us much

We have really enjoyed our holiday. The staff was nice and very helpful, the food was perfect, swimming pools not overcrowded, the beach and sea beautiful, evening program was great. We had a problem with water in our room, and there was no problem to change the room. Thank you 😊

It was indeed fantastic stay in Playa de Muro in this Iberostar Albufera hotel for our family. The meals were great, quality of food excellent and all staff very friendly. There are 4 pools in hotel area, so you could always find a nice place around one of them. Easy access to the beach and a playfields around: we could play some basketball, but also small football and tennis game have been possible.

In the room, it should be a small kettle to boil the water and prepare tea or coffee. I believe 4 star hotel shall have such equipment. Also pillows shall be bit bigger, to make more comfort during the stay :) But those are small issues, and hotel is certainly reccommended.

The food was amazing. the beach is lovely and great choice of pools.

The rooms need soft closing and to be quieter as you are constantly distributed by other guests leaving their doors to slam shut. At times the rooms are noisy and would benefit from some sound proofing.

Located on one of the best beaches of Mallorca, nice evening entertainment, very kind staff, best for families, appreciated water station machine on each floor so you can fill in your bottle nice big room (a standard one)

I would expect more food variety and a bit higher quality

The food was all freshly prepared, Great selection. Selection of alcoholic drinks. Evening entertainment. Animation team really did well to boost the experience.

Facilities were great and the staff were fantastic; friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

It was expensive.
