Gold Coast Hotel Incheon

The staff was very helpful and kind during check-in and check-out. Great location, just outside of the Hokopu station. It is easy to go to Incheon station for traveling and the Songdo-do area for business. There is a convenient-store just on the 1st floor and another 7-eleven across the road. Many restaurants around.

On one day, I smelled the tobacco from somewhere (outside of the door? from the windpipe in the toilet? I am not sure). That was the only thing that annoyed me.

Very convenient location directly opposite a train station. Quiet neighbourhood with lots of amenities nearby. Really kind and helpful staff who were very understanding and helped me out a lot when there was a mix-up with my flights. The room was a good size for a solo traveller and in general very clean and well kept.

The air conditioner dripped sometimes and there was a stain on the curtains. Other than that, a great price and great value for money!

The reception service was wonderful : they helped me to discover Incheon, taking extended time and care with checks for buses and so on. They provided all the little thingy I needed, iron and universal charger. The hotel is just in front of a subway station; super easy to get around. Bed super comfortable and bathroom pristine. Great panoramic view as well. Stayed 2 nights, they changed the bathroom towel, robe and slippers each day. I have to admit that the pictures of the classified are rather creepy, was gladly surprise the bedroom atmosphere was cosy, clean and not worn ;)

If your neighbors are not quiet, then the wall are super thin (common in Asia); could hear the kiddy next door having fun; I do not mind usually but it was 1am :)

The staff was extremely helpful. Even with some of them not speaking English and having to work through translation apps, they did their best to understand me, and to help get me any answers I may have needed for my questions. Something as simple as directions to the store, they printed out those out and gave them to me.

This wasn’t a major problem, but I figured I would mention it none the less. I am very big on sanitizing particularly with the severity of Covid everywhere so I wish there was more hand soap for the bathroom. There was a small soap bar that we were given when we checked in and that was the end of it; we weren’t given any more. On the plus side they didn’t give us a bottle of hand sanitizer, so that was good.

Have stopped here 4 times so that tells you the place is ok. Train station on the other side of the road. Less than an hour to the airport. Plenty of shopping places, markets, tourist bus, etc. only a few stops away, with maybe one transfer. Plenty of places to eat within a few minutes walk. Staff can speak English.

The localisation near Hogupo station easy if we want to go to Seoul. But little far. Many restaurants around with different choices. I enjoy my stay in GOLD COAST HOTEL. And hve nice time with second part. Facilities and cleaning very nice. Réceptionnist very nice. Maybe for my next stay in September I will choose again this hotel. Thank you for this nice experience.

No breakfast area.

The hotel is located just a minute walk from the metro, which makes it a great place to stay to explore the city. Staying close to home is no punishment as well, as there are a lot of great bars and restaurants in the direct vicinity. The room is spacious and clean and the personnel friendly and accommodating. If you manage to get a room on the higher floors, you’ll have a nice view as well

The only minor thing we can think about is that the water pressure in the shower could be a bit stronger

The hotel is very good. There are all amenities. Located in a residential area, quiet and peaceful. Opposite the subway, if you take the subway you will realize how convenient the hotel is.

I loved the whole room, I was really comfortable being there, as a single traveler it had all I needed.

The strong smell of cigarettes, I was trying to find the main source of the smell but it wasn't possible, I just followed it to the bathroom.

The 24 hour check in was great with friendly staff at the counter. Spoke very good and clear English and were very helpful.

The only issue was the water pressure. But still a great valued hotel and close to the airport. Highly recommended.
