Hotel Nox

The close location to city and highway without all the noise of it all. Nicely styled individual rooms as well as a lovely restaurant and bar/cafe space. Ample free parking and friendliness towards dogs. The real winner was the friendly staff that were great representative of how friendly Slovenia and its people are which was something I wasn’t aware of but found comforting and inviting. Definitely a place to visit again and a place I would truly enjoy staying at again no doubt about it.

I honestly had little issue with the place. I would maybe recommend hotel guest only parking upfront as there were alot of people parking up front just for restaurant and bar but were not guests however there was ample parking off to the rear.

I must start with the Welcoming receptionist, lovely girl with beautiful name that I´ve unfortunatelly forgotten. She was amazing, I used to work in a hotel as a Manager I would be the happiest to have such a wonderful girl at the reception. She was super nice. And that´s I guess has the most importatn effect on the overall stay. Room was very clean, spacious with a balcony, which had the mountains view. Worth paying a bit extra. Breakfast was also nice, there was everything necessary. Yet again very nice staff. Even though the location is not in the centre, once we were done sightseeing we went to the hotel and that is super close to the highway. We didn´t have to go during morning rush hour through the city. Plus there is free parking :) .

The shower was leaking, I was careful but ... my partner .. not that much and we had water in the room.

It was a nice room, great breakfast and nice staff. We had free parking in the hotel’s parking space, the hotel was also situated near a Lild supermarket and a gas station.

What was weird was that when we arrived in the room, the water from the bathroom sink and shower contained so much sand it was visible and worrying. It also had a weird colour. But after we let it run for a few minutes, it cleared. I’m not sure what happened, maybe we were the first guests there in a long time or what? The hotel is also a bit far away from the city, but for us it was nice because it had free parking.

We really liked the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was nice and cosy, the bed was really comfortable. We could reach the city center by car in 12 minutes. The breakfast!!! The breakfast was the best part, it was really nice, the coffee and various kinds of omlettes, scramled eggs and such needed to be asked for, (as they prepared it freshly, which was really nice and a good idea) on top of that, there were a lot of food on the tables you could choose from.

The hotel has a very nice interior. Also, there is free parking available. The staff (especially at the reception) was very friendly and always willing to help. We arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time, and we were offered a coffee while a room was s being prepared for us, and in the end, we could check in sooner than expected. Breakfast was excellent, with coffee made by a barista. Overall, that's a great value for money. We would definitely return there once we're in Ljubljana again.

Stayed here for a second time. Great place. We were in a triple room, 3 of us. Huge room with a large washroom. Great service. Breakfast and minibar is included. Free parking. Gas station and Lidl within 20 seconds. Clean, spacious hotel.

The washrooms have a few structural flaws: 1. Lighting is poor especially in the WC area. Only one light in that area and not above the WC. 2. No place to hang towels or clothes except one. If it’s a triple room, you expect at least 3 hooks. 3. The shower area is a bathtub- which is good enough. But it is only a bad shower and the water just falls outside. Until you sit down and take a bath there is no way to avoid that.

This place is very clean and nicely designed. The staff is very helpful and well mannered.

Well… sometimes designers just do “art work” and forget completely about functionality. For example, if you have to use the toilet in the room you have to ask everyone else to leave because the door to the wc is transparent and they can see you doing your business. To make it even better, this door does not close properly as you can see in the photo. Another issue is the floor. If want to get out of bed during the night and the lights are shut off, you are in great danger of breaking your legs or neck because the floor has a kind of step just near the bed. Also, the price is also kind of steep. All in all it was a nice experience so I do recommend this place for the experience of a night or two in Slovenia but no more!

missing better indication of the hotel parking, as we arrived in the night not so clear where to park as the parking place in front of the hotel was full. possible to park behind of the hotel on the grass

the staff was very professional, and the receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming, the facilities and the room where clean. Nice room and nice design of the facility, comfortable bed, nice insulation from the street nearby.

the position it’s a little bit far away from the centre anyway Lubiana is a small city so not a big deal. I just thought it'd be nice to have more variety of food for breakfast. the room terra rossa had a little bit of mold under the air conditioning nothing too bad to be honest.

funky. Booked it because the headline in booking.com said with parking. And yes it is with free parking. Great hotel. Funky design, great interiors and decent location. There is a Lidl within 1 minute walk. Bus stand 2 minutes. It is a distance from the city centre - bus €2 ( 30 minutes) or a cab €15. So not that far. The room was spacious. The washroom was decently spacious too and very comfortable. The shower was excellent. The minibar is included and free. The breakfast was included and very good. The winner for us was the parking. Highly recommended.
