ibis Timisoara City Center

Breakfast was great (eggs, sausages, cereals, fresh vegetables, salads, fresh fruits, yoghurt and may more) location is good versus city centre although the overall site is not quite appealing - main view from the hotel is the backside of a shopping center and an uncared empty lot of land, mattress was satisfactory.

Light in room and bathroom is not sufficient. The shower tiles are dark and there is no light in there. Not even the mirror in the room was not lighten enough for one do to her make up. In weekdays breakfast was served starting at 8:00, which was incovenient for us since we had a morning flight.

The location is good, a five minutes walk for the central areas. It also offers free parking space which is a plus. It has a coworking space for people to work and meet. The staff is really nice also.

I didn’t liked the bathroom door… so strange. it’s a sliding door and it always came of the slider when you tried to close it and it’s not long enough to cover the door so there’s always a 10-15cm of open space… If someone’s entering the room the first thing they will see is you sitting on the loo. I hope this is not the issue in all the rooms

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the centre of Timisoara. Spacious, clean room, ceiling to floor windows and a generous shower. Car park right in front of the hotel, lots of supermarkets nearby. We particularly enjoyed breakfast, the greatest variety of food we've ever seen.

You need quite a bit of muscle power to press the handle in order to enter the room. One of our cards worked on and off and we had to go to the reception a couple of times to get it sorted.

Good location, close to many points of interest & within a walking distance from the train station. Good & clean rooms with comfy beds. The coffee offered in the room upon arrival was also a pleasant surprise.

No balcony available for any room. If you want to arrive earlier than their check-in time (3 pm local time) expect to pay an additional fee of 20 EUR. There's no mention of it here; unless you ask you won't know. At least the room was available upon request. No waiting times. :) Not that great, however.

good location and reliable rooms, I like the interconnecting rooms for travelling with family

There was no water, no coffee or tea facilities in the room this time. Given that the tap water is not drinkable, this would be a basic service I would expect. Indeed, I think we got it last time.

- hotel recently renovated, with a very modern design - free big parking - close to the city center - max 10 min walk - really nice quality and perfume of the shower gel - really soft and nicely perfumed towels - friendly staff

- the bathroom is a bit smelly in the shower area (no good ventilation) and also poorly lighted - the location (even super close to the city center) is a bit weird and super close to the railways (might be disturbing if for those who can’t stand any sounds

The hotel is up to ibis standards maybe a bit above since is a new one. Clean comfortable with a very good location, 10 min walk to the city center. Parking large and free. Breakfast was tasty. Price within ibis range.

1. No mustard, ketchup or mayo at breakfast (would go well with the sausages) 2.Surroundings not the best looking. 3. I saw many dust complains in the reviews before booking, initially I also thought that the nightstands were not properly dusted but after i dusted them my self and when i opened again the bed led the dust was back:)) so apparently is from the bed sheets just normal dust but because of the led light looks like is not well kept.

Very good location, near the city center. Huge parking for guests. Cleanness of hotel and rooms is very good. Staff very kind (and young) and to your service.

Reception not at all marked. Reception , lobby and breakfast room is at one place. Very small "room" for breakfast for such large hotel. Noisy reduction between rooms could be better, noise from the corridor as well. Better light in the toilet, especially in showers- there is no any.

It is central situated, easy to find and has many parking spots. The room was of good quality, comfortable bed, working modern shower and overall new and clean.

Breakfast is not very rich and not very fresh. Coffee machine did not work. There is no city view, it does not matter where you stay, on the back is the railway and in the front a parking with the back of some shopping buildings. The bar closes at 22.00 sadly.

Free big parking, the rooms were modern and nice. The overall stay was enjoyable.

There is some room for improvement for the breakfast, which was good, but not very varied and the staff, which was very nice, but I guess there was a lot of them that were just starting and still have to learn some things. One pillow gave us the impresion that it was not changed, but it was clean enough. No big deal and easy to get over, especially for the price.
