Hotel Coandi

The bedroom was comfortable with a spacious bed and a small balcony. The room was clean. The environment of the restaurant was quirky. The reception staff were very nice and welcoming. We were checked in by Valeria. The hotel has parking.

When we arrived we could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom and then realised at 5am, when one of us woke up because of the smell, it was coming through the ventilation system in the bathroom. The room was aired quickly by opening the windows and closing the door between the entrance hallway, where the bathroom is, and the room. The room was facing into the road and so we couldn't keep the window open for long because it gets very noisy with the window open but when closed, the noise is very well insulated.

The young man at the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Nice view of the bridge over the river at night. Balcony and operable door are great for claustrophobics. Nice restaurant attached to the hotel with friendly staff

Dark blue carpet that potentially hosts a multitude of sins. No fire stairs and no fire doors on the central staircase. A fire on a lower floor will trap (kill?) everyone above. Parking is confusing. You have to park and find stairs that go back up to the street level.

The staff is very friendly and obliging, they helped me a lot and maintained good communication before my arrival. I particularly like their flexibility with check-in (I arrived late) and the fact that the restaurant at the hotel is open until midnight, this was a very pleasant surprise. The breakfast menus are varied and rich. My room was large and very comfortable. Even if there is a tram line on the street, I couldn't hear anything once I closed my window.

Nothing to mention after my stay.

Overall it feels like there is so much love put into all the details and it just feels like at home. They do much more than you could get away with for a three star hotel. Incredibly nice staff, everything is clean, super friendly cleaning ladies, everything is folded and arranged in a very cute way. Great view, the hotel is located right at the river banks, I got to wake up with the prettiest sunrises. The flooring is super nice and always feels warm. The restaurant is amazing as well. I wish them all the best!

Sometimes there was smoke entering the room, probably from the other rooms, even though smoking was prohibited.

Excellent location, with a beautiful view to the Mures river. The room was big, featuring a sitting area with a comfortable couch and armchairs. The tv-set is pretty big, with cable channels. There is a big balcony facing the river and the promenade below, for the people who haven't quit smoking yet ;). The restaurant is also excellent; even I only had the delicious home-made burger, all the dishes looked amazing in the menu and their description sounded great, too.

There is no mini-bar (actually there is a mini fridge, but empty). A pair of chairs and a mini table on the balcony would be a nice feature.

Large rooms and bathroom. The fantastic restaurant tastefully designed, the terrace, the lobby and architecture of the hotel. Most receptionists were helpful. Overall, exceptional for 3 stars, and in many ways, exceeded our expectations. Arad is an interesting and beautiful city with fab architecture, off the beaten track for most tourists. The food is excellent. If I do go back, very likely, I'll be staying at the same hotel for sure.

The lighting and furnishings are a little dated. The location is very nice, but a bit far to the center - about a good km or more. But taxis are very cheap. Noisy with open windows because the hotel is on a highway. With windows closed, it is silent.

The room was spacious and clean.

Bering next to a well traveled road, it can be noisy, therefore you can not sleep with the window open. The hotel parking is down "under the street" (what would be considered -1 ). Although there is an access door there(and elevator that goes to -1), we were told we can not use it, so we basically had to haul the luggage up the stairs on the outside of the hotel.

Nice and clean, friendly staff. Rooms are fairly big and the balcony worth a million for a smoker.

Beds totally NOT suitable for babies or toddlers. For an adult is quite ok. The parking is a lottery, as is not very big and due to local clients, this is nearly full all the time.

the accomododation is super , the comfort of the room and the bed is good, and the location is not far away from the highway the atmosphere and design of the restaurant is amazing and there is a large choice on the menu

the room-temperature is to high the parking is poor, as well as the access to it, if it is raining it is a disaster The service at the restaurant is slow , and unproffesional , nu assistance no explanation.......

It’s clean, very decent hotel with all basic facilities. Easy to reach, parking, restaurant, good food.

Noise from restaurant. Small touches with service in restaurant. When I ask waitress if she can repeat it in English the “F…word” came out from her mouth. Well I asked for English :) After that accidental word I got proper answer. However, it was cute and funny, and did not affect my satisfaction, but somebody could be offended.
