Clean place(despite the weird sewage-type smell). Lots of light, balcony went along entire side of place(very narrow though) but still nice views. Modern and new uncomfortable furniture. It is in a fantastic area of the old town and you're in the heart of it.

The check in procedure was ridiculously difficult and stressful. This could be improved upon greatly, especially when you only have a few minutes to park in front. They just need to have someone meet you, like a previous review mentioned. Persistent bad smell coming from behind washing machine area. I guess they have problems with drainage or something. The furniture is uncomfortable. Even though big and nice looking, it is very tough to relax in...probably because sofa is a bed too. The big chairs are uncomfortable as well unfortunately.

It was a good experience to live there. There is a great location with a lot of different restaurants.

Unfortunately, the ad indicated a washing machine but there was none in the apartment. We booked it for 2 weeks and it was really hard without it. We used a laundry nearby and we didn't get any discount from the landlord. Also, noone proposes to change our towels during 2 weeks.

Stunningly beautiful, modern, spacious, and well-equipped apartment in perfect location. Very convenient for everything in Viana and surrounding area. Parking also very convenient.

We liked everything and have no complaints, just a couple of suggestions: (a) only one small kitchen knife is provided—a bread knife would really help, and maybe also a proper chef’s knife too; (b) ‘washing machine’ in the apartment description on booking.com should clearly be ‘dishwasher’, as there is one of the latter, but not of the former.

Centrally located, secure and very well maintained suites in an apartment block that’s roughly 300m on foot from the train and bus station. The apartment is lush, tastefully designed with modern, comfortable, and quality furniture + decor. High ceilings, lots of natural (and artificial) light from big bay windows AND most importantly – actual soundproofed doors, ceilings, and walls. I slept so well and undisturbed throughout. A real 1st for me in Portugal! High quality crockery and mod cons provided – w/machine, clothes iron, induction cooker + oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle, hand blender, juicer, toaster, coffee machine – all there! Inviting shower with great pressure, the whole shower room is bright and v spacious (for one person at least), large wall to counter mirror, and lots of surface room for cosmetics. Fresh towels and some toiletries also provided. I truly relished my stay in this apartment and can’t wait to return.

As my review score is a 10, these are merely areas of improvement: staff need to check with guests whether they want bed linen and towels. I stayed for 4 nights and my bed linen didn’t get changed once. An ironing board is needed in the apartment. Non-stick frying pan needs replacing. Current one is compromised.

I commend the staff. They responded to and looked after me with attention and care. They communicated clearly and did their best to ensure that all needs were met. The superior apartment I stayed in was exceptional in every way: taste in and quality of furnishing and equipment; cleanliness and lightness; convenient and strategic location; proper soundproofing throughout for minimal disturbance and maximum comfort. I had everything and all the space and quiet I needed to support me in being rested, nurtured, and relaxed for the entire period of my stay.

I loved the location. The facilities were great although I couldn’t figure out the air- conditioning. It wasn’t a problem though as I could take advantage of the breeze except for the first night…..I didn’t realise there was a music festival on and my apartment was only 100 metres from the stage….fortunately it was good music ( except for the crew that came on at 00.30…they were too jarring).

It was difficult to find despite being on the Main Street as there is no proper signage yet. However, kudos to the management as they phoned me to assist with my arrival.

This was a lovely accommodation in the centre of town. It overlooks a pedestrian street so is very quiet. Viana do Castello is a lovely town, we would have liked to stay longer and indeed hope to return. plenty of good restaurants, we ate in O Pescador which was very good. Good cafe's too.

The bed was a pull out bed / sofa bed so the mattress was soft. Only a minor issue as the apartment was excellent apart from that. Trying to locate the lock box from the instructions caused a few anxious moments, however this was overcome successfully. We had a great stay.

Nicely decorated and completely new refurbished apartment. Super centric with air conditioning and elevator. You can arrange a private parking spot very near of the apartment.

The kitchen could be slightly better equipped. The terrace is super small and dirty. Would have been nice to have a small table as the views are great.

Very nice apartment in the center of Viana Do Castelo. Near to everything. Had booked 1 night for my niece and her freind who was on interrail. They was very impressed of the apartment that had almost everything they needed.

It says on the Booking.com, that the apartment had a washingmachine, but it was a dishwasher!
