Hotel Veleiro

Was a pleasured to stay at Veleiro Hotel. Our very first time in Sines was amazing. We loved our ocean view to the Praia Vasca Da Gama. Breakfast was everyday delicious with beautiful table setup cozy room with ocean view. The bed room was perfect for our so deserved vacations days. We divided our trip to Portugal from Canada to different parts of Portugal. Travel down to Alenteijo to Costa Vicentina was on our itinerary. Then with no destination for a few days we went down to Aleteijo. One hour before we got into Sines we reached the website and everything run like a sailing boat very smooth we found this wonderful Veleiro Hotel. So happy to fine such a amazing place. Strong recommended. Thank you for such an amazing hospitality. We love It!

We love everything. From the stuff to the decoration and the view . Spectacular. Very clean and healthy atmosphere. So please with the receptionist there wore so polite and beautiful.

I wish I could remember the name of the girl at the front desk. She had brown hair and was so nice and went out of her way to help us with every question we asked her. She was so helpful and friendly and made our stay more pleasant. Love your little hotel and the view.

Really would have loved for there to be loungers on the roof/terrace to enjoy the sun. Shame there was no seating available up there to get some sun whilst enjoying the view.

The room was big, the facilities also fine. Included breakfast at the hotel at a nice room with a nice view. Beds confortable. Quite in general. Close to the castle and beach. Place to have the lugage saved. Check out time. Would come back any time

Could hear some noise from for example some washing machines. Parking needed to be close to the beach and then take all lugage up was not so easy. Woulp prefer to have a double bed but it was ok for 1 or 2 nights

I had a room on the second floor with a balcony, with the most amazing view. It was such a nice cute little hotel with such a peaceful view. you could hear the sound of the ocean at night. I wish I would have stayed one more night because the beaches around this area where amazing. everything was very local a perfect experience driving along on the coast. the city it self is very tiny and industrial but has a interesting flair. def a nice add to my road trip. very friendly helpful staff.

The view from a stone balcony was heartbreaking! NO PLASTIC BAG FOR THE BINS, and this is 10000 points! Taking care of the environment. Lovely village and walking path around. Good breakfast.

Plastic toothpaste Plastic bags in the soap dispenser (but better than disposable) Paper bag for cutlery. It's a bit pricey for a 3-star hotel.

Incredible unobstructed view of the ocean. Fell asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing below. Quiet, small but lovely breakfast. Everyone was calm and friendly. Wish I had stayed another night!

Tricky to find, look left through a gate. Street parking is also tricky if you are unfamiliar with the town but I had no problem finding a spot a short walk away.

The staff were friendly, the room had everything we needed and it was a central location. We forgot a passport and the hotel were very good at ensuring it was returned. This was very much appreciated, and sets them apart from others, who may not do the same.

The breakfast wasn't as good as we had hoped.

This had one of the most amazing views I've ever stayed in. The staff was excellent the room was a little bit small but clean and welcoming. The balcony was where you would want to live. You must get room 17. Difficult to get to with all the small winding streets but so worth it Go!

Very very difficult to find: small winding streets and then not a place to park. These little tiny streets are one-ways generally and not much indication which way that is before you're on it.

Very good breakfast. Lovely view of the beach/port. Nice room/bathroom. I arrived at the hotel after midnight, called the hotel and the nice lady from the reception come out to see me!

Foul sewage smell, but probably the hotel can't help that....

It’s situated very near the castle in the old town. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach and the sea with amazing views. The room was modern and clean and the breakfast was very good.

The streets around the hotel are VERY narrow but when we were there very quiet. We had to drive to find a restaurant as most in the old town were closed or not suitable.
