Great location near bus,train location. Near the Old Railway with its fine restaurants Very good shower pressure, spacious Small but very adequate breakfast

Weak wifi in room but better in the common area Lumpy pillow, shower box filled due to blockage probably. Thin walls so could be noisy if neighbours inconsiderate

Clean large room with tho separate beds, clean large bathroom, nonstop reception with helpful staff.

The room was above the noisy street with huge traffic even during the night. In the room 112 it was impossible to close the window properly and so the noise and dust from the street went permanentry partially into the room. The breakfest was a bit simply. One bed was a bit noisy.

Location, service, price..and with breakfast included? Wow..a good one at that with a patio overlooking the river..special

It's noisy being on the road..but then again even the pricy hotel across the street must have some issue..both being on the main road.,but it's location right by the water and by the train is perfect I'l be back

It is a little aged but very comfortable and clean . The breakfast was good and the coffee machine made excellent coffee. Close to the train station. Very reasonable price. Our room (201) was large and had a view of river and interesting traffic circle below where we watched trucks full of grapes 🍇.

the location is perfect, just 1 min walking distance to the train station and close to many restaurants/shops. the room is simple, clean and user friendly because you can find hooks for hanging clothes/towels in the toilet which I can't find it in other hotels in Portugal. breakfast is good.

Very close to station. Felt safe and quiet. Breakfast basic but fresh and satisfying. Nice decor in the hotel.

Check in was confusing, possibly due to language but the man thought we were a different booking! He took a bit of convincing! No WIFI codes forthcoming.

A great if slightly basic hotel in the town centre, safe parking once unloaded (pay for 10 minutes street parking while you check in & then move your vehicle), plenty to see & do within walking distance.

I booked a private room, with twin beds. The room was large enough and nice. The beds have good mattress. For this room, there is a ensuite bathroom that comes with power shower, a toilet and a sink. All were clean. Walls are a bit thin, so if you are not a heavy sleeper, you might hear the snores neighbours. My booking came with the breakfast, which is a very good continental buffet breakfast, with a lot of salted and sweet options. The wifi signal in my room was very weak, I had room 203. The hotel can provide with a free covered parking spot. The hotel is located close to the main street with many places to eat/drink within walking distance (3 to 4min). The staff is friendly and speaks a very good english if needed. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or long stay.

Great value hotel, I have stayed before and it remains as good. Very convenient for railway station and therefore for exploring the Douro valley. Aircon was very effective. Breakfast very relaxed. Nice staff.

Nothing to dislike

We've stayed here several times now. It's basic but clean and comfortable, and good value for money. Great location right by the station too.
