I liked everything about this hotel, the staff were really welcoming, understanding, kind, polite and very helpful. The cleaners were good when it came to fresh towels daily and changing the bed sheets which was very good.

I didn't like the fact that my shower in my room wasn't cleaned on the inside around the sealant which wasn't hygienic at all not a nice smell after 3 days and the cleanliness of my floor in my room not vacuumed and moped frequently when cleaned. Those are my only two dislikes.

Free upgrade on check-in, nice staff but could speak better English, great Halloween decorations, stunning design and common areas/lounges blending old with new, welcome chips and water in room, spacious room and bathroom with both bathtub and shower, ability to open window, fast Wi-Fi, stunning courtyard, quiet and ambient surroundings

Confusing access to the pool (unsure if paid or not), no cosmetics in the bathtub area, lack of shower head in the bathtub, broken motor shades, not enough power sockets, not straightforward shower cabin usage, broken nightstand clock/alarm

The bedroom had two single’s beds put side by side instead of one couple’s bed which is what we paid for, most sockets in the room didn’t work and the shower temperature was hard to regulate. The spa was a bit underwhelming, it was nice but not worth the 10€ given that we were already staying the night.

The staff was extremely friendly and helped us nicely with questions. There was a bar on the roof terrace at the swimming pool and one downstairs, at both of them we were helped by a very friendly young man. The rooftop pool was amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect for a short stroll to the town center. All of the hotel was designed very well, with a spacious and calming style.

Sometimes the shower water would go from hot to cold in a split second, but we encountered this at multiple hotels in Portugal. The mini fridge unfortunately didn’t work and there was no place to sit in the outside area of the room. In the rest of the hotel there is plenty of room to sit and relax outside though. Overall we had an extremely pleasant stay.

The room was a great size and stocked well- also the size of the shower was impressive. Breakfast had a good selection. Generally the atmosphere in the hotel was lovely (little touches like nicely scented diffusers in the reception area was very welcome - hotels should ALWAYS smell good)

I loved everything about the hotel but if I were to be really picky I would ask that the diffusers should be extended to the corridors and possibly the rooms.

I had dinner at the hotel, used the rooftop pool and also the SPA for a massage followed by the Jacuzzi and internal pool, all were great, with supper friendly staff!

I forgot my shorts and my partner's bikini in the bathroom, and when I called back after a couple of days, they were not found anywhere. I would expect cleaning staff to have them handover to the reception, other than that, all was perfect!

We liked everything! The pool outside was perfect. The rooms are so beautiful clean and the golden style of bathroom amenities is gorgeous! The club sandwiches were delicious! The bed and the cushions are hard just as we like them.

The sangria at the pool bar wasn’t good:( The staff at the reception might have been more smiling with the adults and even more with the kids.

The hotel has a gorgeous outdoor pool (which is around 40m long so great for actual swimming) as well as an indoor pool and spa. I was blown away by the design and style of the hotel, one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in, with a bonus grand piano in the lobby. Extremely good value for money.

Nice cozy minimalistic deco. Friendly and very polite staff. Great a la carte breakfast, with good quality food. Food and wine list at the restaurant are great too, prices are ok. The spa like the hotel you can tell are pretty new, and very relaxing too, a bit dark to my taste but relaxing for sure. The fitness room is decent, it has the main cardio machines and weights one may need for a basic training session.

Bed mattresses were soft, actually one side of the double bed was much softer than the other side (later I realized they were individual mattresses put together as a double bed) and the pillows were definitely too hard for anyone, it is not a super comfy bed. Very clean, but not super comfy. For such a nice hotel there were unsupervised kids running around reception and also other kids being really loud at dinner time, a bit unfortunate the hotel could not ask parents to be careful about this.

Great size room : a suite. Roof pool was great but way too congested during the day. In door pool and spa was great as well.

No working coffee machine in room due to the fact the hotel was changing machines. No co-operation from front desk and housekeeping to resolve the issue. And no communication from the front desk regarding the issue.
