Galaxy Hotel

The SPA area is nice, maybe a bit small but nice and you can relax there. There is good food in the restaurant. Rooms are spacious and they have nice king bed :)

Overall my experience was good but I think hotel should work on providing information to the guests. Once the reservation was done we got to know that we have to do reservation to the SPA area - thats fine, covid restricions. What I dont like is once we came to the SPA area, the woman told us that we can stay just for 1h. We expected to stay longer and therefore we would plan rest of activities differently. Why there is no information on the website about the SPA length duration and why none told us that we would have to leave the pool after 1h cause to some reasons when we did the reservation and got the confirmation?

Exceptional multiple choice breakfast. The selection for children was absolutely great. My son had everything under the sun and more! There was lovely selection of freshly baked bread and traditional Polish desserts. Also nice coffee and fresh juice. The location is just next to Kazimierz Galeria so lots of choice of things to eat or do nearby. The swimming pool was just amazing touch to our stay here. Our 6yo loved it so much and we managed to relax and saw mixture of people that were having good time and being respectful to each other. The beds were so comfortable we slept really well. The staff added extra bed for our son who fel asleep in it in no time.

The only thing that we didn't like is that we only stayed one night! Could have easily stayed another two nights.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices and above average for a buffet.

No negative experience regarding breakfast. If I was being critical, I would like to have seen maple syrup for the pancakes but I know this isn’t a polish tradition.

Breakfast was good, they had gluten free rolls and biscuits they also cooked me bacon one morning when there was no gluten free sausages. Also they swiftly sorted a bad drain smell in my room. When I asked for more tea bags and a little fresh milk so I could keep it in the little fridge this was brought up too.

The location is a good 10 min walk to the nearest tram stop. The bar staff could have been more helpful with my gluten intolerance and took forever to get the mayonnaise I asked for and had to check where it was. The soup I ordered was luke warm but I was hungry and just ate it. I didn’t fancy waiting even longer for a new bowl of soup.

The bar closed after 11pm and even as a guest I couldn't get a drink. Any hotel I've ever stayed in the bar would be open to guests.

Nice hotel, good location not right in the centre but a 15-20 minute walk, or a quick taxi (very cheap!) to the main square. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. Room was bigger than expected and the shower/bath was lovely! Check in/out was quick and easy and we were able to leave our luggage with reception between check out and our return flight later that day.

Breakfast staff seemed either unbothered or rude, breakfast itself was good but could have been better quality, such as the sausages were very very cheap hot dogs cut up into pieces, I would expect better from a 4* hotel but the breakfast was included so you can’t complain too much. Some of the decor is a little outdated, and the walls in our room were quite dirty with spills and marks down them. Reception staff were helpful but again seemed pretty bored. Some of the swimming facilities weren’t in use which was fine by us as we weren’t planning on using them anyway, but this could be disappointing for others. Our room was right next to the elevators which made it hard to sleep as you could hear them going up and down at night.

The hotel and bedroom was far too hot and there seemed to be no way that worked to turn the heating down in the room. The hotel was well located for the Jewish quarter and Schindler’s factory but a bit too far from the old town. However it was very quick to get an Uber or Bolt at all times and not expensive to get anywhere in the city

Everything was ok, good breakfast, the hotel has a pool and it was a well sized and clean room. A few years old but still nice equipment. The hotel has its own parking for 40zl/day, which is convenient.

During the check-in the receptionist did not inform us that you need to book a place/time at the pool and when we learned this, it was already booked up for the day. This was a bit dissapointing for our child, but it is the only negative and only a detail.

Lovely clean hotel. Room was spacious with a lovely river view. Located a couple of minutes walk from a shopping centre and a short walk to Kazmierz

The pool and jacuzzi were closed however thankfully the pool did reopen when we were there. Only issue was that you had to book in advance. Also rate had changed when we paid to check out although we had tried to settle bill in arrival ended up paying over £20 more than quoted

A fantastic hotel, it is extremely clean and comfortable. It has great facilities and the staff are lovely.

The only fault I could find is that I would have liked bathrobes to go to the spa with, you can buy them but I would not have had enough room in my luggage to bring them home with me.
