Ramada by Wyndham Manila Central

Perfect location. Well air conditioned and spacious rooms. The staff here is extremely attentive. They were able to give us a late check out and hold our bags for us free of charge. On arrival they gave us an iced welcome drink that was very yummy! There is a restaurant on property that can deliver to the room. Beds were very comfortable. Shout out to Albert, Jeff, and Cuenca who were willing to book us a Grab and even gave us a map for places to see/eat nearby. Jeff even waited outside for our car to arrive and packed our luggage inside. Truly great service here.

The only thing would be the WiFi wasn’t the best for working remote. We would definitely stay here again. For being on a busy street we didn’t hear anything within our room.

A shoutout especially Edward and Jeff, Concierge and a special mention about Joshua, Hanz and Maezy for making our stay superb. They attended to all our needs, helped we seniors up and down the steps, called for a tuk tuk and Grab and had a welcome smile each morning. The breakfast was varied and catered to our vegetarian needs and again the restaurant staff remembered us and our choices. A nice touch is the free shuttle to local attractions that removed the haggle with the locals.

The only disappointment is the quality of the towels which are thin and old.

This is a nice 4 star hotel (if showing it's age in some ways) with large clean and comfortable rooms, generally good facilities (excepting the gym!), friendly and helpful staff and an unbeatable location in the centre of Binondo.

The gym is unusable and should be closed until new equipment can be purchased. As requested, I let the staff know when I wanted to use it, but it was still not set up at the time booked. The treadmills could not be turned on my staff. Advertising a gym is misleading when the equipment is so old and does not work!

Staff were very helpful and well mannered and friendly. Room was nice but the chair provided for the desk was too big and blocked the passageway to the room windows (room 1201). Should relocate the desk to nearer the window and provide a slightly smaller chair on swivel wheels.

See above. Also, the breakfast room was a bit run down. Could have been made more vibrant with colourful tablecloth and potted plants (real/fake) and bright pictures on walls. Paint the walls with darker and bolder colours and improve ambient lighting. Breakfast hall looked too sterile. Some hospitals in Singapore look more classy than that hall!

The location was good, right in middle of Chinatown so plenty of places to eat out. Ramada has free shuttle and dropped us off and picked us up from tourist sightseeing. The staff were so friendly and efficient, special thanks to Hanz and Edward.

We only had one breakfast at the Ramada, room service,requested American breakfast which was not available. Ordered Continental which was bread, jam and coffee. Still delivered in timely and courteous manner.

The hotel is located in Binondo opposite the minor basilica and minor shrine. It is also in the oldest Chinatown in the world. The area is crowded but has a character of its own. The hotel lobby is small but inviting. The check in/ out process is quick and efficient. Staff are extremely polite, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are of reasonable size and well furnished. Some of the furniture and linen shows the age and lack of guests due to covid. The bathrooms are renovated. The carpets in the corridor shows age. The breakfast served on the 15th floor( has good distant views of the sea and pier) is limited on options but good and filling. There are eating places( Starbucks, Jollibee) and numerous Chinese places are nearby. The only public conveyance are the jeepneys and rickshaws( nearest LRT station is 10 min walk). Very close to intramurous, Rizal park, City Hall. The only negative is that hotel asks you to deposit or guarantee PHP 2000(~USD 40) per day as security which gives impression that you don’t trust the guest. Come on Ramada, if we can trust you and come there to stay, you should reciprocate.

Ramada is a superb hotel to stay in at Binondo. Remarkable is a moderate word to describe the hotel facilities itself : rooms, resto, location etc and also the professional and well trained staff it has : Bhel, Hanz, Edward and Joshua of the front desk, as well as Albert of the service crew group. They all made our 2 night stay a complete memorably comfortable experience

Probably due to the volume of guests during our scheduled stay, we were not able to be provided with extra beds that we requested

Excellent room service (assistance with my food delivery, room service orders, helping carry my shopping bags) 4. Location is incredible! Already beside the Eng Bee Tin, Chuan Kee and Cafe Mezzanine and 7-Eleven (some of the very near food estbalishment), Medical and hygiene shops such as Watsons and Mercury are a few walks away also. On the other side, banks and ATMS are easily a few minute walk. Across the street is a church. Nearby is a Mall as well. Fast food restaurant can do delivery within the area or you can walk to the stores also.

During our stay, all hotel staff were more than concerned. you will feel warmer than at home. Definitely more than a hotel. First of all, the attention and respect of the employees, the cleanliness and cleanliness of the hotel was quite good. First of all, I would like to thank especially the receptionist Behl and all the other staff who greeted us with Turkish words. You can stay comfortably.

The concierge Edward is a credit to himself and the hotel. Could not be more helpful to us tourists and extremely helpful in our check in process, showing us where to go and being of great assistance on our check out. Doing all of these with a smile on his face. The security staff and reception staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Nothing about the hotel was dislikeable. Just know that you're in the middle of Chinatown and not everyone is well off as the tourists.
