Acacia Hotel Manila - Multiple Use Hotel

For my birthday, I requested something special from the hotel where I booked my stay through Booking.com. I usually leave notes when making reservations, but this was the first time a hotel took them seriously. When we entered our room, I was pleasantly surprised to find happy birthday balloons and a sign on the bed. Later that afternoon, they even surprised me with a slice of cake! It was my husband who receive it because I was in the bathroom when they knocked and it made me very happy and it really made my day. Thank you so much, Acacia Hotel! Please continue to offer this kind of service.

Hmm, its not that I don't like it, perhaps extending the pool hours until around 10 PM would be better?

Great location, a hop away from the groceries, restaurants, bars and main thoroughfare going to the airport. A beautiful open and decorated lobby with alot of seating. They are very strict in following masks guidelines in lieu of the pandemic. Alcohol and sanitizers are available everywhere for guests to us. The staff are polite ,helpful and very attentive from the securities who open the door for you, to the bellman, receptionist, housekeepers and servers. They have great service team. They addressed my room requirements and are very responsive each time I ask for something. Room is spacious with high ceiling, big glass window overlooking city view. It was clean and well dusted. The furnitures are modern and practical. Bathroom is spacious with separate bath rubs and shower. Complete toiletries were provided, including slippers and a bathrobe. Beds were comfy and sheets were clean and soft. This hotel offers the best breakfast buffet so far. Worth every bite.

When I booked this hotel, there was no mention about putting a deposit for damages.  They charged $200 for 4 night stay and once I checked out, they said it may take a few days before they return the money back to the guest upon confirming that nothing was damaged in the room. Also beware that if you have exchange you dollar to peso conversion at the reception, the value was too low. Bathroom too wet. The water from the shower seeps through the door and the floor can get slippery even if they put a small floor mat. It can be dangerous for the elderly . They need to add a bigger mat or rug.

- All of the staff (airport shuttle driver, bellhop, house keeping, security guards) except the front desk were very friendly, helpful and nice. - The location was very convenient. The hotel is located in between Alabang town center and Festival mall alabang and were all walking distance. There were a lot of fast food restaurants around the hotel too. - Great pool and gym, these facilities are free. - Can't get enough of how the bed is so soft and comfortable.

- All of the front desk personnel were not very welcoming and accommodating. - There was a socket/consent located in the work table near the TV, but it wasn't working.

My family and I stayed at Acacia for three nights in September. It was my first time visiting the Philippines in decades and it was a wonderful place to reconnect with my family. We were able to have two rooms on the same floor. Room service was prompt and the rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was free and plenty. Most importantly, the location was great! It is very close to Festival Mall and directly across from a Jolibee/McDo for late night munchies. I think I prefer Alabang to Makati since Makati can be traffic ridden at all times of the day. The breakfast buffet was superb. My family enjoyed the omelette station, Filipino breakfast options (beef tapa, tocino, and garlic rice), while I enjoyed having bread. Would definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Manila!

The pool isn't the largest, but it has a great view of Alabang.

Clean, standard hotel, location proximity to Ayala Alabang, comfy king bed, breakfast buffet had good variety of Asian and continental options, could have more local fresh fruit, veg & juices. Staff all smiles:)

Room AC could not be adjusted - constantly 19c. No refrigerator. Shower door didn't close all the way, water ran onto floor, which made it dangerously slippery. Walls are thin, could hear neighbors.

Friendly staff. It was my mom’s birthday and the staff setup some balloons in my mom’s room and gave her a small birthday cake. We really appreciated the sweet gesture :)

Food service was so slow. We got a table for dinner at 7pm and made our orders, which was not served until more than an hour later. Hehehe! Also, the next morning, we had a buffet breakfast and the food selections were great, however the brewed coffee tasted so bad. We tried to order 4 lattes because we couldn’t stand the free bad coffee. 2 arrived midway through our meal, but the other 2 did not. When we’ve finished our breakfast, we just decided to cancel the 2 missing lattes. Our family had fun talking about how slow the service and how bad the coffee was, but if you could improve on those areas, that would be awesome! :)

The hotel was in a great, very clean, safe location of Manila with plenty of food and shopping within walking distance. The rooms are very nice, well kept, and clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful! We stayed there for 2 weeks total. We paid for breakfast the 2nd week, and it was excellent! The transportation to and from the airport was top notch, and our driver (Wally) went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. I even had to get a Covid Antigen RT prior to departure, and he went with me to the facility next to the airport, went inside with me, and worked with the staff to help me through the process quickly! Felt this was an exceptional value for the money! Highly recommend!!

I can't think of anything that I was not pleased with. Highly recommend!!

The location is great,  near access on restaurants, groceries , gasoline stations and main road. The lobby is grand,beautiful decorations. The security and staffs are attentive ,helpful and courteous.  They follow covid safety measures,, everyone we saw especially the employees are wearing masks. And they have alcohol &  hand sanitizers available in every floor. We were assigned 5th floor room with nice city view. Room was spacious with modern fixtures. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. Linens were soft. Bathrooms has standing shower and bath tubs. They provided toiletries and towels. The bathroom is luxe,reminded of Shangri-la.  Wifi is strong. Cable channel available. The closet was nice with free bathrobe and disposable slippers. Loved the free water.

The room smelled musty. It will need a vacuuming and airing out. Both my mother and I both have allergic reaction on the dust. It felt like the room hasnt been used for awhile. The carpet and curtains smelled moldy. No refrigerator or coffee maker.

Customer service is exceptional in Acacia Hotel. Staff friendliness and willingness to give assistance in times of need is beyond my expectations. I got sick during my stay and receptionists organized a nurse to take me to the nearest medical center. It was very comforting knowing I was in safe hands. Hats off to all the staffs in Acacia Hotel

Great location and great room. I asked for a Queen/King sized bed because I thought I could choose the bed type but was upgraded instead (I’m guessing there were available rooms) ❤️ My boyfriend also had a wound that re-opened during our stay and when we asked if they had alcohol and gauze they sent a nurse up to make sure everything was alright and gave us everything we needed. Needless to say the staff was very accommodating.
