Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino

The proximity to Mactan Airport is unbeatable. From the domestic terminal, it’s just across the road using the back entrance to the hotel. But if you have baggage or coming from the international terminal, it’s better to request airport pickup and they provide it for free! I love the buffet breakfast. The staff at the restaurant and the lobby are polite, friendly and attentive to your needs.

The room definitely needs renovation and I’m glad they’ve started doing that on some floors. My bed was creaky and uncomfortable and the toilet and wash basin did not drain properly.

This was our second stay at the hotel, so we knew more or less what to expect. The location was the major factor for us, as it's right by the airport. We knew there was a restaurant for evening meal and breakfast, so we didn't have to go looking, and the breakfast buffet was superb. After checkout the free shuttle to the International terminal is a real bonus. It would only be a short walk, but in the heat, or in rain, with suitcases, it's no fun. Staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly.

After 3 weeks in the Philippines we were looking forward to a hot shower. Unfortunately, there was no hot water. The bed was huge, and comfortable. Unfortunately the pillows were too small and thin, and I had a very sleepless night because of this. I'm very large, but even my partner, who's tiny, had problems. The only other thing, which annoyed me, was the price of a beer in the restaurant, over 6 times as expensive as outside. I expect hotel prices to be higher, but not to that degree.

The location was one of the reason i picked this hotel,it was just across the airport,after travelling for many hours,crossing lots of time zones,you need to relax right away,the bed were so comfy,the staff are fabulous,so helpful from the guard,the bell boys and to the concierge.They are polite and very friendly.The breakfast is by far the best filipino food breakfast in a hotel i ever had.

Nothing really,only i wish the escalator was working when i was there,but i understand after the storm hit the area years ago,the hotel is still recovering from some damage.

Beautiful hotel and the service from the staff there was like a 5-star resort. The rooms were slightly outdated but it was old-school classy and the cleanliness plus size more than made up for it! The beds were ridiculously comfortable, so much so that we didn’t want to get out of bed to catch our next flight! The breakfast was MASSIVE and everything was fresh, tasty and in large quantities, so have no fear of missing out! Amazing stay for one night between flights.

As mentioned above, slightly outdated rooms but for one night, who cares!

location Location… I arrived early morning and paid an extra P1000 for early check in… great. Then due to early arrival, I did not want to try so many other places for early arriving. I knew WaterFront would be useful this way. The location made staying here so easy for staying a few days. I needed to do few things in Cebu city and move on. Waterfront is the perfect location having the airport across the street. and a shuttle to take us to international terminal. Nice buffet and easy breakfast. the lobby area so large and easy check in. And for those that like, the casino is a short walk down a hall way.

The escalator down to parking area was down and needed traverse this up or down yourselves.

Diffcult to get to from airport if walking had to walk down steps and go to lower enterence esculator NW so on previous stay had to carry case up, on this stay the porter called there cousesty bus to take the bagage up to the main enterence. Hotel is getting a little old and signs of ware present

The service was outstanding. Also the room was very well appointed .the pool was great too.

We had dinner 2 nights at the hotel restaurant. We tried to order ribs both nights and they were out so we tried to order another dish and they were out. The restaurant only had 4 tables with couples and never was full or busy and we waited for 45minutes for a hamburger plater and chichen plate and the hamburger was not fully cooked. It was a waste of my hard earned money.Also the last night we ordered the tubu -tubu you.can eat buffet. It was very unsatisfying i.got 3 shrimp BBQ stick and when I went back to get more I was told they ran out. This is false advertising regarding all you can eat for the food on display. Both nights i felt like i wasted money was better off going off property to eat. .

Location was very good, but didn't manage to find out how to walk to the airport as it was raining very heavily both times we walked from and back to the airport

Left a towel in the room which I sent a message through booking.com about, and they told me they would check. Went back to the hotel to stay for our last night and checked, and they again said they will check and let me know when I check out, but finally they said they didn't find anything... Could have helped to check and confirm since the beginning... But everything else was great 👍

Second overnight stay here, still enjoying the spacious room, friendly staff, comfortable bed and pillows. Right in front of the Mactan-Cebu airport domestic departures terminal so it is an ideal location if you're connecting flights within the Philippines. 2 minutes' walk, no need to get a Grab / Taxi or trike.

Air conditioning is really cold and control panel won't let you increase the temperature above 20° or so
