Goldberry Suites and Hotel - Mactan

The room had a view, it was spacious and had a very good ensuite. It's proximity to the airport made for hassle free travel. The shuttle service was efficient. We were able to leave our bags at the motel, until we were ready to catch their shuttle service to the airport. The mall was a short ride and easy to access by jeepney or taxi. The staff were wonderful.

There were no obvious restaurants or shops within walking distance. Personally, staying in Cebu City would be a better option if staying longer than a day or two as need to catch taxi/grab to/fro and cost adds up. No information on tourist attractions or activities. However, we found it difficult throughout the Philippines to obtain information, an oversight as I probably should have purchased a guide like Lonely Planet

Breakfast was delicious and varied. Included scrambled eggs. Room was clean. Staff were lovely even the security people. It is a bustling small hotel in lapu-lapu

There wasn’t a shuttle to meet us so we hired a van. $18 USD to the hotel from the airport, it’s a fair distance thru heavy traffic. No answer when we called the hotel. I will send a text before hand next time Hotel is amidst power lines and a very busy somewhat run-down area. Although the amenities of the hotel are excellent. It might be a good stay for business but not a “touristy” area

The service was exceptional, with all the staff being nice, polite, and professional. The room was comfortable. Location is close to the Airport and they provide free shuttle. Overall, I was extremely happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

One of the bathroom walls was glass, allowing a view of the bed and vice versa, and the walls were thin. Although there were window blinds, it still felt lacking in privacy.

The room has good lighting, floor to ceiling window, and comfortable bed, working TV and AC. We also liked the breakfast buffet, the variations were enough and they are of good quality, and tasted good. They provide free airport shuttle service, pick up and drop off. The staff were accommodating and polite.

The room service wasn't proactive in providing the replenishment toilet paper and bottled water. We stayed for 3 nights and every day we had to inform/ask the front desk about the replenishment. We noticed minor issue with the water pressure in the shower, it was low compared to the sink, not sure why.

Travelled with my girlfriend. We got two rooms. They gave us each a free upgrade, so she got a suite with a sitting room and bedroom and I got a big room with a balcony. Both rooms were beautiful. It cost like $45 each per night for rooms that in the US would probably cost at least $200. Wifi worked nicely with no problem. Coffee maker and supplies in room which I really liked. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was nice, they had a variety of types of food for modest prices, I think catering to foreigners because it included things like pasta and hamburgers along with the more Filipino dishes. There's an ATM right outside the hotel, which was very convenient. (When I'm in the Philippines I find myself constantly searching for ATMs, as many places won't take a credit card. My girlfriend was worried about me wandering around town at night with a bunch of cash in my pocket after hitting an ATM so having one right there was convenient and reassuring.) They have a free shuttle to the airport and it was no problem arranging for it to take me to the airport at 3:30 am to catch my 6:00 am flight.

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was much nicer than other hotels I have stayed at in the area -- a little more expensive but not much, definitely worth the extra few dollars a night. I appreciated the complimentary coffee arrangement in the room and the refrigerator stocked with drinkables. The breakfast buffet was good -- not the best, but good. They had a complimentary airport shuttle that was very helpful, and the staff was very good about making arrangements. Oh, the hotel is very close to the airport which is convenient.

I really have no complaints. The place exceeded my expectations and if I need a place to stay in Mactan again I would stay there again.

The location is near Mactan-Cebu International Airport. The hotel also provides shuttle service every hour to the airport. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are also friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but the tastes are delicious. Coffees are brewed every time when a customer orders. Recommend for the travellers to check in their early flights.

The lobby is small. If there is a group of people checking in at the same time, it will be crowded and the queue will be long.

very accommodating to my request for valentines day, the room was brilliant. We went out for dinner to a restaurant and they sadly didn't have our reservation so we returned to the hotel for their valentines dinner buffet night, they fit us in last minute, were so lovely and looked after us and the buffet was fantastic, as well as the live band!

the only negative which made the start really poor was that the airport shuttle did not show up and none of the phone numbers worked to contact them. we paid for a grab then he showed up but we had waited over 30 mins by that point. this really dampened the start of our valentines stay

They upgraded me to a GIANT king suite. My room was enormous. It had a really nice bathroom, sitting room and huge king bed. I only stayed here overnight after flying in. I kinda wish I had stayed longer. They have a free airport shuttle which is really nice. Breakfast was included which was convenient and it was pretty good. The price is very reasonable.

Check-in was a bit slow, but there was only one person working and I think she was trying. There aren't really any restaurants right there so you need to either eat at their restaurant or take a taxi somewhere.

Our rooms has been upgraded which was such a good surprise! The staff were very accommodating and lovely. Comfortable bed. The room was clean. Restaurant next to the hotel was very convenient. Free shuttle bus from and to the airport was great! The area is very convenient, easy access to public transport and there’s shops nearby.

The properly is too dark for my liking, I would have like it if the lights were brighter. Hallway were also too dark but again, this is just my personal preference.
