The proximity to the ferry and the centre of town. A short stroll and we were on the water front getting coffee or a drink. The owners were phenomenal, with late changes to our ferry arriving they were truly very helpful and accommodating in a stressful situation. They appear to care for their guests above just receiving a paycheck from them, which is refreshing to see.

We had a very limited time there due to ferry issues on the interislander. So we didn't get to spend much time in our room etc, but the facilities were clean, the room was comfortable and spacious.

I booked an executive room and payed more because of parking out front and a knee injury but they put us in a mezzanine room which is upstairs and despite showing them the reservation we didn't get our room. The rooms however are spacious and clean. So despite the wrong room we were satisfied with our one night stay.

The room was spacious and well laid out. It was nice to have both a couch and a dining table and chairs. The bed was very comfy and loved having electric blankets. Also loved the way the hand towels were folded and make up wipes supplied along with toiletries.

Everything was fine, and we had all we needed. A bathroom tap needed a new washer as it was dripping but it wasn’t a problem and we told Melissa, the duty manager.

everything we needed was there, including proper milk. Comfy bed, plenty of room. There were two beds in our budget room, a queen and a king single. Take no notice of the detail on the booking.com site that says the bed is really small. We liked our stay more than the much pricier and flasher but cramped accommodation we had at the start of our trip. We were downstairs and had rear access to the room for taking the dog out for a walk at night.

No bottle opener, a very small gripe. A sharper knife would have been handy too

One needs to take into consideration how Covid has hit the hospitality industry and how they are surviving. It's hard to judge a place in this climate and most are struggling to maintain properties. Always keep this in mind. I liked the location, no street noise - perfect for me as I am an extremally light sleeper. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the units are. Staff are super-helpful and responded to my late night woe via Email in about 10-minutes cause I could not get the TV working (my fault). My unit needs a bit of maintenance (broken window latches and a couple of other small things) but these did not overshadow my experience. I will be booking here again on my return trip through Picton next week - that should mean enough.

Shower pressure. My usual 5-minute shower took 15-minutes. At least the water was constant and hot not like other motels where you have to dodge the water each time someone flushes the toilet. Still, not a deal breaker for most people - I usually rate a motel over the shower because that is where my day starts. I'm looking forward to another 15-minute shower soon :)

I liked how there was plenty of parking, plenty of pillows and it had plenty of coffee condiments

The beds were very hard. After a long road trip I just wanted a nice soft bed. Just need to check the dates on the little potties of milk as they had expired 20 days ago and were left on the bench with the other condiments.

Good value for money - well stocked kitchenette to be able to prepare a meal, comfortable bed, dvds available from reception to play on the tv in the room, friendly staff, nice and quiet.

The lights that stay on all night on the reception area shine through the curtains of the room making it quite light when trying to sleep. I would suggest the lights be put on a sensor so only turn on when someone walks through and also changed from a bright white bulb to a fuller orange bulb. alternatively good blackout curtains in the room.

Good location once again great to have Sky channels/My sky and thought overall price was fair. Comfortable and clean no issues.

The jug to boil water wasn't exactly great as when making plunger coffee had to boil twice. There was some noisy moments in the day :) however all well managed and no major issues at all to be honest.

Good location, clean, neat ,good value for money . Very adjusting owners . We were allowed late check out without any extra charges. Very prompt reply of any message

Kitchen didn't have frying pans or oven trays . There is no exhaust in the bathroom and kitchen . We had to keep the windows open in cold temperature.

Only little niggly things. Shower tap was hard to regulate (kept flicking to hot unless you held it). The fridge door hinge is on the wrong side so it was tight putting things in because of the wall.
