ibis Styles Haarlem City

Was very clean, good breakfast, well positioned. 10 minutes walk to train station that goes to amsterdam central in 25 minutes. Parking is 7.50 per day but there is one free across the road. Also location is near a well regarded town, Bloemendaal.

As it is in entire Dutch, room temperature is set to 19-20 degree. you can increase it but somehow is reset to 20 over the night. But good think is that the. hotel provides us an additional heater and was ok.

Location is good, 25 minutes by car to Amsterdam, or 8 minutes walk to the train station, however, tickets machine was not available at the station, so need to buy in app. Hotel is very clean, friendly staff. There is paid parking near by the hotel, however, there is also plenty of free parking places in the neighbourhood just near the hotel. Breakfast is good, good coffee. All was really good and I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel accepts cards only, no cash. There is no kettle in the room. We also asked for extra pillows, as the pillows are very thin. The view in our room (122) was strange, to some kind of roof :-)

This Ibis seems quite new; the rooms are a nice size with comfortable beds and pillows. Unlike many Ibis facilities, this one has a dedicated bathroom, which has a good size shower and sink. We walk a lot, so the 20-25 minute walk into the train station and center was not a problem. I believe there is a tram stop near the hotel.

The front desk staff were not very helpful when we had questions about the area. For instance, we wanted to visit Keukenhof Gardens. We asked the front desk personnel about how to get there and get tickets. They had no advice or information to give us about Keukenhof Gardens. It would have been very helpful to receive some information from the staff about this large tourist destination.

The staff were very welcoming & helpful. The entire property was exceptionally clean. My sister & I could not find fault with the hotel. Our room was cleaned each day and always looked spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Good value for money. would recommend the Ibis Styles to anyone wanting a good clean stay in the very pleasant Haarlem City near all the sports facilities.

After giving this question some thought the only the minor thing was lack of tea making facilities in the room. As I like my early morning cuppa before my brekkie.

Located between Haarlem and Bloemendaal. For us a good location to walk to the lovely center of Bloemendaal for dinner and take the bike to make a tour (we brought our own, Ibis also rents them out). Styles has comfortable, functional room, exactly what we were looking for two days, one night at the coast. Large restaurant at ground floor. At ground floor a large restaurant

The price/performance is good, all good what we expected from a standard Ibis room.

Quiet location and was clean

Shower didn't drain. Followed the towel guide to try to save washing and they still changed towels even when not needed. Breakfast was not a good value for money. Didn't provide clean glasses in the bathroom. Would have been nicer to have two beds rather than a bed and pullout sofa. Bathroom light on motion detection so at night couldn't be turned off.

Easy location and parking. Clean room with good bed and bathroom. 24h check in desk. Price was good for the area.

Noises from hallway and other rooms came through easily. The street pavement looked right into my room. Staff was very unfriendly when I wanted to have buffet breakfast without reservation although this was agreed the night before with other much friendlier staff member. Breakfast was average.

While the hotel is away from the centre, it's just a 1 km walk into town. You can also rent a bike for reasonable money. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are modern and clean. Coffee and tea are on the house. In short, very good value for money.

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and really interested to do their best.

The heating/ac needs to be cleaned and adjusted. We could smell cigarette smoke from other rooms. The breakfast was OK. Could offer more options of fruits and fresh breads.

Great location close to Bloemendaal train station, 10 minute walk. Parking is cheap or free if you park over the road. Room was new, big and very comfortable. Breakfast was ok and they had Soya milk if you are dairy free. Staff are friendly and helpful.
