Well situated to explore Haarlem….near good restaurants and cultural venues…as well as shopping. Friendly, helpful staff!

It’s a long walk to the train station to catch the train into Amsterdam.

Have stayed here before - excellent location just off main square and less than a minute from river (and near where river/canal trips leave from). Room fine with excellent, and quiet, AC. Had best sleep of the holiday here. Breakfast very good - wide selection of foods including cooked foods. Staff helpful with city information and booking taxi to airport. Several late night bars within a few minutes walk of hotel. Several waterfront cafes only 1-2 minutes away at river.

Nothing really - we were asked when we arrived to pick a breakfast time and we didn't - the two mornings we were there there was hardly anyone else in the breakfast room so unless you particularly want to eat early don't feel forced into choosing a time

Great location as most of the needed things were nearby, walkable distance. The helpful and always smiling staff, who speak good english, made our stay comfortable. We stayed for 3 days, went to Geithoorn and again came back to Haarlem and stayed here for 3 more days. When we came back we felt we were back to Our Home! Haarlem. Most beautiful town. With history, with nice old style lay-out. Narrow lanes, bicycle roads, canal rides. City of artists. Nice museum, with high-tech arrangements. Smiling people, fantastic street food style restaurants, tasty beer.

Heater in the room was not working as per our expectations....but as weather started getting warmer, we were ok with it.

The central location and the friendly staff. The rooms are a good size, and the hotel is lovely. Water cooler is located around each floor, so there is no need to buy water for your room. The beds are very comfortable.

We had a room at the front of the hotel, which meant there was a lot of noise early in the morning with delivery's for the local restaurants, and staff setting up for the day.. We asked to be moved and were reminded by staff we were staying in a city hotel and noise should be expected. We were moved to another room.

Loved how central it was, so easy to walk to the centre and around the canal. The train and bus station was a convenient easy straight line walk for about 15/20mins - really good to get to and from the airport by bus 300 etc. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we asked questions and they gave us more sugar for our room when we had ran out :) free water machines and a complementary umbrella to borrow by reception doors! Would defo recommend and stay here again👌

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. My room was large and spotlessly clean. The location is so close to many, many nice restaurants with outdoor seating.

It was a hot few days in Haarlem. The AC in older European hotels is never sufficient to cool the rooms sufficiently. A fan the second night helped. My room on the 3rd floor overlooks the street so an open window led to being awaked by the municipal garbage collectors.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friedly and attentive.

We were allocated a 'disabled' room to give us more space but we did not like it and we changed. We noticed that the basin was cracked and a table light did not work. The new room was much better but heating control was not great. Although we could access BBC channels in the first room, we could not do so in the second. The same applied to other channels including local Haarlem TV.

I loved how central this hotel was. It really was at the heart of the city and we didn't have to walk far at all to explore the best places in the city. We also loved the glass roof with all the star signs. Amazing hotel thank you! I would just like to add it was also fantastic that the staff arranged a bouquet of flowers for my wife. I emailed them a few weeks before our stay and asked them to arrange some flowers and they did not disappoint.

Clean, comfortable, black out curtains, great location, and helpful/friendly staff. The room and bathroom were a good size and the elevator was appreciated. The air conditioning didn’t work great, but helped some at least. The water refill stations were a nice addition too so you can just refill your bottles.

We ate breakfast out but I am sure the breakfast would have been good. The room was great , comfortable beds, very clean. The location was right in the middle so easy to walk everywhere.we took a local bus to see the amazing Keukenhof gardens, had a fab boat ride around the canals . excellent places to eat very close to hotel.
