Hotel Merida

The hotel is very beautifully designed in a colonial well maintained building, especially the entrance area is very nice. People working in this hotel are very guest oriented. Veryone is trying their best to make your stay nice. The location is the best, it is the center of everything, all important sightseeings, best restaurants are all 1-2 blocks away. It has a very nice pool with a good atmosphere, which we enjoyed daily. In front of our room there were chairs and a table to rest, you will have a very nice view. The breakfast place working together with the hotel is inside the hotel and has nice interiors. Many good breakfast and lunch places near by. Even with problems like bathroom ect, we still think this is the best hotel all in all we stayed in Mexico. We had a great time here! Thank you for all your kindnesses!

Room itself is rather small, beds were narrow, bathroom very strangely designed... cleaning wasn't good. Shower is very poor on water pressure and the bathroom easily flooded if anyne showers... the bathroom is just so badly done, such a shame for this beautiful building. Windows can't be opened... fresh air only through the door. The restaurnat offering the breakfast is a little problem, as the service perosnal would perfer to service non-hotel guets, due to the possible tipps, Hotel gusts been treated second class guests. But as it is not part of the hotel, just book without breakfast.

I like the location of this hotel and downstairs is the Marago coffee which is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. They also serve great coffee. The location us great because walking to the center is about 5 minutes or less. So many restaurants nearby you don't have to walk very far. Also you can schedule tours at the hotel or even across the street. Shopping areas are just down the street from the hotel. There is a nice pool at the hotel and good ac jn the rooms. Convenient location.

I wish there was a fridge in the room but overall a good stay there.

The location in perfect. The public areas were beautiful. I loved the restaurant / coffee shop in the hotel.

There was just one light fixture with a blue hued light. It made everything appear a bit dreary and depressing. More light with some warmer hues would have helped. There were also a lot of mosquitos in the room and I was bit up. There are a lot of mosquitos in Merida, but this was more than would be expected. I had the window closed, so I don’t really understand it.

The receptionists are beautiful people, kind and warm. The restaurant is great, has variety and great coffee. You can have access to the nearest parking included.

The towels look old and deserve to be retired;) The tap of the shower although we made it work is broken and needs to be fixed.

This was a last minute booking due to a problem we had our previous accommodation. The staff welcomed immediately and gave us their help/support. Moreover, the hotel is in the centre of the city, walking distance from the main touristic attractions

The room was small

Front desk staff were really helpful and kind. It was great to have a cafe on site. The location near the Grand Plaza was excellent. Also our room was very spacious and quiet.

Some issues with the toilet in our bathroom and a bad smell.

Nice hotel with 2 beautiful courtyards.

First room was very small and no hot water. After we got moved to a larger room with hot water, it was much more comfortable for the 12 nights that we were staying.

Location, location, location. Very well located at historic center of Merida. Most staff members are very helpful and room was clean.

Night front desk manager was not helpful and in our room, the bathroom design was poor.

Staff were so helpful and friendly--Mario, Donaldo, Orlando, Luis, Rocio excellent! They found us a room with better light and access to fresh air.

The center floor near reception could use leaf-raking, more comfortable chairs and more light. Men's bano off that was really dirty. First room we had didn't have enough light overall, and reading lights would be so helpful.

I’ve stayed at their property three times already and I loved it, great location closed to restaurants and stores we did had a problem with the ac but they fixed it staff is really friendly and I truly recommend this hotel
