Casa Cuevas & Amaro

What I liked best was that the rooms were nice, clean, spacious, and accommodating. Every room has AC, fridge, Daily cleaning with plenty of towels, a community kitchen, and is in a convenient location to the lucas galvez market and centro. There is also many nearby stores to get drinks, snacks, and any other basic needs you want as well as a supermarket within a reasonable walking distance. Not to mention the WIFI is great and fast enough to do your work on or watch movies, faster than my internet in the U.S. even! I was thoroughly pleased with my stay here and the cleaning staff were super nice and friendly too!!! The Guy at the front desk was so cool and friendly and even got a personal taxi for me to the airport on the morning of my departure. The place is tucked away in a traditional neighborhood but is very spacious once you enter and the court yard makes you feel as if you are staying in a hacienda with many beautiful flowers and plants. It gives you the true feel of being in Mexico and I'd recommend this place to anyone. There is even a small bread shop around the corner that has the best cinnamon rolls and cream cheese cake I ever tasted as well as many other traditional Mexican pastries and breads. If you need some drinks or snacks or any basic electronic necessities or batteries ect.. the cleaning store adjacent to the hotel has most of what you need without having to go all the way to oxxo. There is nothing that I didn't like.

Very nice patio, quiet neighborhood, very kind, nice and helpful personnel. A place to hook hammocks in a room. Good quality WiFi, I was working from a room easily. Shared kitchen, so I was able to cook meal. Location quite near to the centre of the city (about 1.2 km - it was about 15 minutes by foot). Very comfortable, hard beds - ideal to sleep.

Very low pressure in the shower. Happily there was a tap below the shower, so I was able to wash myself under the tap. Not comfortable chairs in the room. Clogged sink from the beginning in the room.

Excellent service from especially the owner Arthur; very helpful with provding tips and suggestions about where to go, what to do and what to see. Basic room with all needed; even a small fridge which I found was really nice. Basic too the kitchen but with almost everything you need. Small common patio outside the rooms where you could sit for breakfast, work or whatever. Only 15 minutes walking to Plaza Grande in a very local neighbourhood which I personally like. Bottomline; price/quality was at its full as expected

Nothing that I can come of

It’s a quaint, roomy space with a very comfortable bed, tucked into a private, secure and beautifully kept courtyard with access to a shared kitchen.

The bathroom. The single source of water, in the bathroom, was at a sink that drained slowly and in order to stand at the sink you were inside the shower.

It’s a great, very family friendly place. We loved the little garden area outside and the shared kitchen. The staff is super, super friendly. There are a few playgrounds in walking distance and the big market is only a ten minute walk away. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.

Location, style of accommodation (apartment with 2 bedrooms), use of the pool at night, friendly staff, tranquil feeling, no noise

There was a fine powder dropping from the ceiling that got all over our stuff! Also we were unable to cook because the stove was not connected to the gas pipe.

Very kind staff, large room, comfy beds. The room had a fridge. There was a separate shared kitchen.

The area wasn't the best. Do not walk it after dark. Didi cars are cheap from the center.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, Ceiling fan and own shower toilet etc. Room was massive which was bonus TV clean towels soap etc. If I was to improve this room I would ditch the TV install a fridge which is far more important.

the owner manager Arthur speaks English which’s helpful for some people. the property is located in a quiet neighborhood. there is no hot water which is not unusual doe the area.

there were a few ants but that is not unusual for the area

The room was large with two beds. The hotel is set back from the road and feels very private. I liked the layout of the hotel, with some tables outside for guests to sit outside their rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The price we paid was great for what we got.

There was a bit of a smell from the bathroom - maybe the drains as it had been cleaned.
