Azura Boutique Hotel

I cannot say HOW AMAZING THIS PLACE IS. Pros: AMAZING A/C, huge rooms, comfortable beds, like an AirBnB (has a kitchen and living room), BEAUTIFUL terrace, great price, SEVINA IS THE PERFECT HOST -- SHE GAVE US SO MANY GREAT RECS, amazing location, great bathrooms, everything was flawless! I could rave about this place to no end, but just go ahead and book it.

New modern building, fully equipped kitchen (much appreciated purified water & spices), spotlessly clean (daily basis), comfortable mattress, shared terrasse on the rooftop simply amazing with nice sunrise & sunset views.

Noise, noise, noise. Unfortunately this property lies on a central avenue of Tulum, in Mexico there is no such thing as double glazed windows so people like me having issues with sleep did not appreciate the location. However, you will not be bothered by loud music which is quite typical a few blocks away at the city center of Tulum. Double bed could also be a bit bigger, 140cm wide is a bit tight.

This was my favorite place that I stayed in the Yucatan. The room was huge and well appointed; actually a suite with a kitchenette. There was a water dispenser that was refilled daily and free coffee in the room. The bed was so comfortable. Loved the roof deck, and since the hotel is so small, we essentially had it to ourselves. The "pools" are only like a foot deep so they're really just for dipping your feet in, but otherwise the roof is a great spot for hanging out.

The only minor issue we had is that the receptionist when we checked in didn't speak English. I speak basic Spanish, but it wasn't adequate for the questions that I had been hoping to get his help with. I don't expect my language to be accommodated everywhere I go in a foreign country but was just a little surprised since Tulum is such a tourist destination.

The 2 bedroomed apartment is huge and very clean. There are 2 sofas and a huge 6 person dining table and chairs in the lounge. All easily accommodated in this vast room. The tv worked fine and you can use your usb on it. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds and pillows were very comfy. Both bedrooms come with their own en suite bathrooms and showers. The hot water showers are excellent and have 24hr hot water. It has all the kitchen equipment if you want to do self catering. It has a gas cooker, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, cutlery, cups and a coffee machine with free coffee and tea bags supplied daily. It also has two sinks to put your plates etc in. The room is meticulously cleaned every day. They supply fresh towels, bedding, soaps, shampoo, toilet rolls, lotions, and clean any kitchen stuff left on a daily basis. The location of the hotel is about 200 metres from the main strip in Tulum and it has a local Oxxo (7-11 type shop) right across the road from it. The rooftop has two nice small dip pools and is the only place in the hotel where people can smoke. They can also organise any taxis or trips you might want. Highly recommended.

There is a little bit of street noise but it's not too loud and won't stop you sleeping. A lift in the property would have been handy as the 2 bed apartments are on the 2nd floor, just below the rooftop pools.

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a fold out couch. Sabine and company were friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. We had the upstairs roof top to ourselves. We stayed over the Christmas holidays and were presented with a lovely basket. Just across from the hotel is a delicious burrito cart and everything is within walking distance of Tulum town. Highly recommend staying in town over the expensive and overly constructed beach area which we enjoyed in 2015 but is unpleasant now.

Everything was perfect

Very clean rooms with a great kitchenette (can be rare to find in Mexico). We loved the free water provided as well as the coffee. Very friendly staff who were able to answer any questions we had. We were able to safely park our car outside the hotel for the stay. The location is a short walk to the Main Street and is good for staying in the town

We found the room to be a bit smaller and darker than the photos however it was still comfortable and spacious for 2 people

The lady on the reception was very helpful, she gave us a lot of tips&tricks for Tulum. The location is great, in the heart of city center. The hotel has big rooftop teracce with nice view where you can grab a beer and spend some time. We liked the equipment of the room and really appreciate coffee machine!! Highly recommend this place.

The sofa was not suitable for sleeping, it was not confortable.

Amazing staff, nice location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars and great value. The 2 bedroom was so spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We did not want to leave after our 3 day stay. Highly recommend.

Just a warning to make sure you park appropriately which is at least 10 paces from the corner according to the transit police who almost issued us a ticket for parking in front of the hotel, 2 meters away from the yellow curb.

great property, especially if you have a car to drive around. easy parking, we were able to drive to different beaches each day and explore. also close to the Main Street of Tulum to walk around shops and restaurants. Plenty of purified water is included, which is a major bonus. very clean and nice design of the units.

The area may not look fancy but is OK (i.e I felt safe at night, and is quite close to the main avenue where a lot of restaurants and stores in Tulum center). A couple of supermarkets within 3 min with the car (or a 20 min walk) There is sufficient parking around the hotel and is easy with the car to drive into the highway (+2min) The room is a mini-apartment, well equipped (blender, microwave, oven, stove, knives, fridge, etc.) A/C in both sections Good water pressure, comfortable bed. Personnel was friendly

Nothing in general. Only one of the team members was really knowledgeable about the local logistics and places, but the other team members will do their best to help.
