Hotel Casa Blanca

I thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay at Casa Blanca. As a single traveler I was comfortable, felt safe, and enjoyed the hotel, surrounding area, and city. The hotel staff from manager to cleaners were friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and accommodating . The location was ideal, one block from the lake/lakefront , across the street from the Lake Chapala Society where there were cultural events and entertainment or just a quiet garden space to relax, and walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and attractions. The free continental breakfast at the hotel was delicious and served each morning. It consisted of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard-boiled egg, toast/bread, coffee tea and juice. The hotel staff arranged reliable airport transfers and taxis during the week at my request. The Wi-Fi was strong and worked well in my room a well as in the common areas. The place was quiet and relaxing. The rooms and entire space were clean and well maintained. I will definitely return for a future stay at the wonderful Casa Blanca Hotel.

I had no complaints whatsoever.

I like the decor and many different places to sit like on the roof terrace, balcony and courtyards the room ( nr 6) was beautiful I liked the music played through the speakers. it created a very relaxing vibe

the breakfast was very basic continental

Breakfast was good. At the front desk Jesus was a huge help.He made my long distance bus reservation. A concert on a Saturday night in the bar and restaurant area was wonderful!

Getting breakfast a bit earlier, starting at around 7:30, would have been helpful.

Surrounded by more pricy b&bs in the heart of the town not far from the malecón. Fresh fruit was awesome. Coffee ready every morning at 8:30! Bed was awesomely comfortable. Clean. Has an evening- low key bar on the premises. Coffee shop across the way. Stairs to the Rooms. Small Quiet patios. Also had some English channels on the tv

Charming, sweetly decorated hotel very close to everything in the old part of Ajijic. Loved the gardens with high ivy covered walls where breakfast was served. Lovely hand painted touches in the rooms. Quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful hotel, comfy, close to the lake and the plaza, and staff was wonderful and super nice!

Only thing was, the day we arrived it was very hot. Though it is a wonderful hotel it could use a minisplit in the top rooms for days when needed.

It is the perfect location. It’s close to the Malecon, the plaza, restaurants and shops. It’s on a quiet street. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

I LOVED the ambiance and the decoratorations; I have been to the Middle East and it so reminded me of that time. The staff was WONDERFUL! And the continental breakfast was good. I also really liked the music that was playing all of the time.

As the website stated that the INternet was available, it was very disappointing that it "did not work" when I arrived. That meant that I had to go to the coffeeshop each day to catch up with my email. The place right across the street did have email, and so, when I was told that "this entire area has internet problems," I was confused.

Location ,friendliness

Wonderful staff very friendly and always helpful. The place is a great older place with tons of charm. Lots of outdoor spaces to relax or enjoy breakfast. Had a wonderful stay thank you all!
