Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort

We have to wait 1.5hours to get our food,end up we decide to have dinner outside the hotel..such a wasting time!

The facilities and activities are great for family and children, big room .

The ambiance in the villa and outside does portray a resort .e.g. the furniture are old, windows are not thoroughly clean the garden not properly maintained. Hence I felt over priced.

The Concept that the hotel provides self contained entertainment with survival and water parks within walking distance.

Failure to execute the concept for it to actually works. Location is remote and access to nearby town will require half hour driving at least. The location is quite isolated but not much going on apart from the theme parks during the day for visitors to stay put and busy themselves at night. The room is quite confusing, it’s a mix between hotel room, airB&B and a homestay. No clear identity. No cutlery, just cups and drinking glasses. Basic electric stove will do wonders for family room. Pool policy not enforced, some visitors got into the water with their tshirt on, no proper swimming attire and nobody cares. I can see some kids dispose their nasal fluid right into the pool.

Big, spacious, comfortable bed, near to water park, smooth check in and out, good breakfast

Dont know the function of having many guys at the lobby, they’re not very helpful, only come to help when we asked them to. Most of the time they just sit at the lobby in groups playing with their phone and talking among themselves. Maybe their job scope is not to help the guest, probably just do maintenance, if thats the case then they should be placed somewhere hidden. But the girls at the front desk are very attentive and friendly.

i went back to hotel room and the staff had cleaned our room as we havent say anthing to make they clean our room. please ensure your staff didnt clean our room except if we request to do so.

Ample parking. Reasonable prices for the attractions and parks. Best coconut water!

This is my second time coming back to Amverton. And coincidence I got the same room - 625. Since my last visit in March, there’s some improvements. But do keep on keeping up the maintenance. Room feels dusty, there were used tissue papers underneath the balcony curtain and under the beds, the foul smell from the kitchen sink is still there, and please do something about the flies in the restaurant. Maintenance for the survival park is needed as there aren’t much attractions and some were broken. Have more pet animals in the animal island - as it is more expensive than the survival park. Other than that, all good.

I like the food, the cleanliness of the room but I think the management should improve the flexibility of theme park for resort customer entrance since the theme park close at 6 pm, one day entrance should be by 24 hours starting from entering time not by day basis for example the theme park valid from entering at 3 pm after check in date until 3 pm tomorrow.

A great weekend getaway at nearby Kuala Lumpur. While the location lacked of nearby attractions, the hotel itself offered a wide range of activities within its compound. The friendly staff, and excellent on-site facilities, including a pool, and spa, made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The Waterpark was great and not crowded even on weekend. Parking area was huge!

No nearby F&B outlets, not many other attraction nearby.

I booked Double Twin Suite It enjoyable family getaway ,spacious rooms, there a water heater ,aircond , mini bar,variet tv channel, tasty breakfast buffet especially sambal nasi lemak and Ayam sambal acceptable taste suitable for hot and spicy fans ;) and toddler/kids-friendly facilities (Riverine Splash Water theme Park )so much fun kids had a blast! there also even offer family-themed packages to keep both you and your children entertained! Location little far from main city but nice atmosphere. Many activities provided here, will comeback for sure with other family members, recommended for family with kids Kudos to the hotel team and staff :D

Loved the breakfast spread! During our stay, there was a family day for a travel company, so it's a bit crowded. Nevertheless, we loved the food. p/s: bread and butter pudding was awesome!)

We had to change our unit since the TV and heater weren't functioning. The 'new' unit we got had a broken shower, but we didn't want to change to another one already.
