Mandarina Hotel Luxembourg Airport

Located 10min walk from the airport. Restaurant on site. Comfortable bed. Has everything that is needed for short stays. Downtown LUX is a short drive from the hotel. Places to walk and relax. No outside noise in the room, such as planes or cars.

What is there not to like? I didn't have the opportunity to eat breakfast as my flight was early in the morning.

1) I managed to rest because it was quiet in the nearby. The airplanes that used to take off and land quite often did not disturb me. 2) There was a good connection with the center of Luxembourg by bus and the transportation was free. 3) I arrived late at night and although the hotel was very close to the airport, they offered a pick-up service by car. 4) The persons from the reception were very friendly and helpful.

1) In my opinion, the rooms need to be painted for more cleanliness. 2) I received too many towels every day but not enough toilet paper until I raised the issue at the reception. They took into account my request. 3) A bit too expensive, but I couldn't find something cheaper with the same utilities (for instance a personal bathroom).

After sitting 3 hours on a airplane chair IT IS A MUST to GO ON FOOT at Mandarina Hotel.... We did and even city was covered in fog we enjoyed the walk. Clean, not small not large just to fit one night staying room! We also had dinner there! beer was good also.. Breakfast was enough to start the day with full energy! I liked very much the door's colors - a cyan mixed with a blue - powerful and still soft

this hotel is a transit one - that's clear! It was built for that purpose and this is what is doing. it is a functional place with warm people - a helping staff! you can say that exterior windows were not shinny or not all was new but they don't deserve such a punishment!

My room was extremely clean, spacious and the air conditioning was silent and at a nice temperature. The bed was super cozy and the bathroom very well thought-out, with a great shower. I much appreciated the big shelf that easily accommodated my laptop, with room to spare for other items. Wi-Fi was fast and stable. The staff was friendly and collaborative. I didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked quite nice, with a great selection of food (expensive, not unlike other restaurants in Luxembourg). Free parking (strictly reserved for Hotel customers) is a definite plus.

While the parking has ample space, when returning late at night I felt lucky to find just a single remaining spot ... maybe the number of lots is less than the number of rooms? This could be a problem, since currently there is construction work just beside the property and it would be impossible to park outside.

IT was a Quick one nighter and it had what we needed. The Room was great, Bathroom had everything we needed and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was Great (even though the scrambled eggs might be processed and not 'natural'), All in All really happy for the price for a quick stop over.

This is nothing to do with the hotel, but the roadworks around the hotel was a bit off an annoyance. Something that is a bit more of a personal preference to me, greet new customers in multiple languages not everyone on earth speaks French or maybe ask which language the clients speak, well done on having multilingual staff. :)

It was an excellent stay here at Mandarina. Location of the property is prime. City centre is 30 min away and bus station is in front of the hotel so it’s very convenient. It’s also close to airport and you get a nice view from the hotel room window if you’re staying on right wing of the hotel. Hotel has its own restaurant & you can get the breakfast/dinner there.(Do check the availability first). You can enjoy the drinks at the bar as well. One more perk i.e parking is free.

It was 30th Dec & dinner was not available at the restaurant. It would have been great if they would have informed everyone early. I saw many people were surprised & they had to order or go out somewhere for dinner.

This hotel is awesome for this amount of money! I come to Luxembourg often, and I'm always staying at Kirchberg Central hotel - but this time I was like, let's get something near the airport instead because its raining and its cold and I hate the commute to the airport from the Kirchberg when I'm leaving Luxembour, and boy did I make a good decision!!! Room is spacious for one (two would fit nice as well), bathroom is big, warm (has a towel dryer), heating is good, working table is great, bed is comfy, you don't hear airplanes at all, wifi is awesome, staff is great - I went down to get a beer at the bar, was alone there around 00:00, and the dude was like "have another one, its on me bro...". xD I have extended my stay to 5 days instead of 1.

Heating is working, but it takes time to kick in the warmth. Window had a huge hole in it which was letting in a lot of cool air like the window was open - I guess that someone before me broke it, its hard to notice tho, so I don't think they wouldn't fix it if they knew. I just filled it with the TP and its all good now. Walls are paper thin. Cleaning lady woke me up 2 times in the morning, I wasn't able to find that thingy that you put on your door knob not to be disturbed... A nicer chair would be awesome.

We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was very close to the airport. The bus service outside the hotel was quite frequent so we reached the city center quickly. The room was okay, bathroom was clean. Most staff was good and friendly. Breakfast was okay, and sitting area was nice too.

The mattress and pillows were a bit hard, would have preferred a softer one. The TV didn't have any English channels or option of English subtitles on the French ones.

Serene environment with proximity to the bus stop and to the airport. Smooth check in ✔️ Wifi worked great. Free parking spaces for those with their cars. comfortable room/bed.

The bathroom floor had some mold. Again, on check in, I noticed some uncleaned towels. This made me request for cleaning the next day. However, on returning to my room after a long day; towels, toiletries, slabs etc..had blood stains. This made me sad and paranoid. On informing Mgt via the reception, I was told the cleaning lady got injured while cleaning my room. I still find this not excusable!! Instead of leaving sensitive stuff stained in blood, one would expect a stop and a call for help on noticing. If I didn’t figure the stains, I was expected to use tissue and towels stained with someone’s blood. I am still terrified as this poses a health risk and this leaves me to ponder how often the employees get tested 😔 🤷‍♀️

I really liked the attention and patience of the staff. My english is not good, but I felt so much efforts by them in order to clear my questions and offer a wonderful experience. Moreover, the breakfast and the dinner options are delicious, me and my father loved it.

Communication with the staff. For example, we had extended our stay by paying for more days, but the door lock stopped to recognize our card. It was indicated when we had arrived from the city and we saw our door room opened. Besides, this issue was quickly solved by the staff.
