Ibis Luxembourg Airport

The location is super close to the airport i walked it in 9 mins with a hand luggage bag. The area feels safe. The FREE public transport passes the hotel. The food in the restaurant was ok. Shower was good. Bed comfortable.

The rooms are not sound proofed and i had children next door running wild till late at night. The windows had lots of bugs outside so you could not open them for fear of them coming in! (spiders and crawling things) only 2 sockets and no USB charging spots. to use desk meant having to trail a wire from the bedside. TV had no world news channels and BBC didnt work so no English tv.

The central heating was great. The bar was a nice place for cozy drinks after a day put in the city. We loved that the bus stop is right in front of it, very convenient. The shuttle service is included and, even tho the airport is very much walking distance, we used to have a more comfortable trip. There's toiletries and a hair dryer in the bathroom. There are many plugs and USB ports throughout the room. We also loved that even though we were there before check-in, we were able to do an early check-in after paying a fee.

The water pressure in the shower head wasn't too great

I wanted to stay near the airport due to an early flight home after my stay. The location for this purpose was ideal and the facilities were good with friendly staff.

My only complaint would be that I was told I couldn’t have tap water with my meal at the restaurant, I would have had to buy a no-doubt overpriced bottle of water with my meal, despite there being a notice in my room saying that tap water is perfectly drinkable throughout Luxembourg. I found it odd that they wouldn’t give a paying customer a free glass of water with my meal.

The shower unit was large, clean, and both powerful and hot enough - which is not always a given. The bed was comfortable. There is a bar area with terrace downstairs which is expensive but nice and comfortable. As a single traveller for work, it has everything you need and isn't too noisy (walls are not thin as with some other places...)

I paid for breakfast but will not do so again. 17 eur per day is extremely expensive and the quality does not justify it. I recommend getting breakfast at a local bakery, cafe, or supermarket instead

The room was clean and spacious, the window blinds provide full darkness. The breakfast has a full range of options, which were enjoyable. The late check out at 12 was optimal, which meant we did not have to rush out.

We requested extra pillows for the bed at reception, because the ones supplied were not comfortable enough, and were told they didn't have enough, as they were "quasi" booked. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, which we would have expected, had we booked in the budget hotel.

Such a nice hotel! Our room was modern and had a nice vibe. It wasn't in the city centrum which was nice and calm. Thanks to the free public transport in Luxembourg and buses that went by regularly, the centrum was easy to go to. The hotel was very calm. Being next to the airport planes made some noise, but falling asleep was easy with ear plugs. Beds were also comfortable. We came to see the civil wedding of HRH Princess Alexandra and Mr. Nicolas Bagory, which was absolutely wonderful, and we truly fell in love with Luxembourg! Will definitely come back again one day.

Otherwise the experience would have been a full 10 but need to give 9 just becouse we had only one duvet, which gave a bit of trouble and affected sleeping. Also a mini fridge would have been great, but we got on well without one after all.

It all went well. I liked the IBIS (Airport) hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. There was very little outside noise. It is a lovely quiet hotel.

An extra towel would have helped. I thought the location of the hair dryer could be improved by moving it to a place where it does not obstruct you in front of the mirror. There were no drawers for your clothing (shirts, socks, underwear, etc). This was not critical as I kept my clothes in my suitcase. But it would be more convenient to have some drawer space.

I would like to visit again Luxembourg in future nearly. Our trip was one of the best trip of my life so far. Natural Lover, Mountain, Hills, Beauty, Small and Wonderful Villages, River, Castle all. I am going to miss. We have visited Notre Dame, Esch Sur Sure, City Centre, Monument of Remembrance, A lot of Unknown Castle, Vianden Castle, Our River and Many More. Out Stay at IBIS Airport Hotel was one of the best stay ever. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Menu was awesome. Restaurant really nice, food was delicious. it was birthday falling during stay so we had good time.. see you Luxembourg again.

Every things was fine, we really couldn't ask for more.

The location: is close to the airport and in easy reach to the city, by bus. Was clean and quiet, which is very important. The breakfast was basic and there was not much choice, but enough to get you started. The room was basic and exactly as advertised in the photos. The hotel looks freshly refurbished, which was nice.

Pillows were very thin and there was one per person. I have neck problems if my head does not have proper support and I went to the reception to ask for an extra pillow. The receptionist told me a straight no, without even asking why I need it or try to accomodate me. I understand this is a basic hotel, but I've never been told no when I had a reasonable request. Customer service was not great on this occassion.

Close to airport; can walk in less than 10 min. (I had no luggage; otherwise, there is shuttle.) Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Not the biggest in size, but big enough. Clean, spacious bathroom. Dinner after late arrival (around 7:30) was good enough. Very nice breakfast. Personnel at reception and restaurant nice, welcoming, professional. The hotel has everything you would need for a business trip, including electric shoes brush at the entrance. (Very useful.) Easy and free to get downtown Luxembourg: from hotel, just walk back to airport, then take the free bus. Price was good, too.

I really did not expect this hotel to be as good as it is. I am usually picky, but this was a great experience. No dislikes.
