Le Royal Amman

clean and close to everything. the spa and the pool are very nice, and the staff are friendly. our stay included breakfast which was fresh and delicious.

the rooms and the bathroom need a bit of an upgrade. the toilet flush did not work well, and the sink faucet had to be opened slowly so it wouldn’t splash everywhere. these small details affect the place considering it’s name “Le Royal”! also, the wall electric outlets need to be updated to accommodate universal chargers and USB’s. they’re old and their location is inconvenient, nothing is close to the bed. the mini fridge contents are way too expensive, which I believe is abusive instead of it being a convenience option for guests.

Great place with fantastic staff who can't help you enough. The room was large, very clean with a great view. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had an early flight so ordered cases to be collected, with a taxi and they even suggested they could make us up breakfast to take with us, which I thought was great! Unfortunately in the morning they forgot or didn't pass the message to anyone so we never received any and had to organise ourselves. Still would stay again though.

Everything from top to bottom! Amazing architecture of the building, very spacious inside, super clean, nice and polite staff, extra security, breakfast: amazing!! Bathroom was great! All decorations, lifts ect. Exceptional. Swimming pool and spa amazing: even though I was the only lady in the swimming pool , I was respectful to others and vice versa, didn't feel uncomfortable.

Shower head in room 1602 didn't work: top shower did. That didn't make my stay any uncomfortable. Hotel is having great views and not bad location however to get anywhere it was usually 30min+ . For European people walking matters because we like to see sites however I noticed there is no such culture of walking, probably small distances, roads are extremely jammed (at the end of the day, it is capital) and all people and guests seem to take taxis.

Le Royal was our home for two weeks in Amman. . The room was homey , spacious, with stunning views. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful, that made it feel like we were with family. Having several upscale restaurants on campus made it easy for us to host family and friends for dinners or coffee . We have enjoyed the upscale spa couple of times with the amazing message therapists Theresa, and Ni - Luh to erase stress from running around all day. Mohammed the spa manager was more than helpful all the time too. The dead sea pool was our favorite.in addition to to the sauna and steam room. . The location in the heart of Amman was a plus . We enjoyed venturing to the historic downtown of Amman . . Also we enjoyed the great eateries within walking distance, from Le Royal. Last , we truly liked and enjoyed the touches of art work from Mesopotamia, at the hotel entrance, The Winged Bull. And through out the hotel .

The one thing we did not like during our stay is that smoking in the lobby and restaurants were allowed. We have requested a non smoking room , but you could still smell a little through the bathroom vent.

The location is good, the staff is nice in general, breakfast is very good and rooms are big and the beds are comfortable!

The security is too much for just a hotel, I don’t see why I have to pass though a metal detector every time I entered but I saw that its normal in Amman, which is weird. The dining area was smaller than it supposed to be, we had to wait for others to leave in order to find a place to sit, we even asked them to reserve a place for us but we were surprised the next day that they just didn’t and even claimed that we didn’t ask them. The staff in the dining area were not very helpful and sometimes ignoring our needs, the chairs in the room were uncomfortable and dirty, they should clean them, doesn’t fit a 5 star hotel. The toilet seat is too low and not comfortable at all.

I like everything, the best thing is how you feel secure, especially for girls. The staff always keeps looking and manage everything so you could be safe and comfortable all the time. The Spa and the pools are amazing, one of the best experiences ever. I liked that there is a lady's spa and gym, it's amazing. They offer everything you need. If you make the Dead Sea pool just for ladys, this would be amazing. I'll recommend staying at le royal for all my relatives and friends.

I just didn't like the Samurai Restaurant. This is not Japanese at all. I make better Japanese food at home than this one.

The design is beautiful.

Due to covid, some parts of hotel were not open. Some parts were dusty and debris, cigarette butts were every where. The outside needs major clean.

The facilities are great, clean and spacious. Some staff members are super friendly. The service is fast. The views are beautiful. The check in and check out was quick and smooth. The location is central and that helps.

All in all it was nice and comfy, what I would improve as a constructive feedback: Some staff members were fabulous, but some would be careless and talk on their mobiles while they converse with you. My room was missing a robe, the minibar, and the electricity outlets were a bit loose. The furniture could be renewed. There was a weird stain in my bed sheet, so I jumped into the one next to it which was clean.

Perfectly located close to 3rd circle, the Royal hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a comfy and quiet room with an astonishing view over the city. The room size is relatively good for the fare while being quite clean and fully equipped. The free-of-charge valet service has been also a big plus considering that it is almost impossible to park nearby the hotel. The concierge has also been very helpful to my parents who lost their luggage at the airport.

The receptionists were efficient and fast but could have been a bit more welcoming and kind.

We bookended our trip with overnight stays at Le Royal: both visits were exceptional in terms of staff, rooms and facilities. See my review of last week for late night ( as in after midnight ) check in, breakfast and the superb concierge. This week, we had to leave very early and we used the hotel taxi. Easy to book, easy to use, charming driver, on time and efficient. We ate in the Buddha restaurant. Fantastic food, wonderful view, beautiful ambience. The room was extremely comfortable, quiet and well-appointed.
