Onyado Nono Toyama Natural Hot Spring

Comfotable beds in good size for japanese standards, floor with tatami, very clean in general, good ofurô in the bathroom, and silence to sleep well. In addition, the breakfast was very well served with good variety, tasty and healthy! Attendants were very thoughtful! Also, the hotel offers special shampoo for small child - which is very good and helpful for the parents (less carry on to take)!

(1) It lacked diaper basket for people with baby/small child, (2) onsen could have different types of treatment (not only regular water), (3) hotel could also offer a free shuttle from the station, since it is a bit far - difficult to move with elderly people and small baby/child.

Location is easy to reach and very good for the onsen hot spring is provided.

Disappointed 1: i have already paid for a room for 2 adults + 2 12yrs children with breakfast included, but i dont known whats the reason during check in, I was informed the room rate and breakfast fee did not cover our children, and what i would need to pay extra money for them to settled. At that point, I may consider looking for other hotels due to the additional costs. Disappointed 2: For the hotel's hot spring is open to outside quests. It doesnt feel good to know before booking.

We were very lucky and got upgraded from a standard double room to a room with two single beds, arigato once again! :) Everything else was excellent as well: your own little onsen bathtub in the room, shared onsen with ice cream and massage chairs and a very delicious breakfast. You could even get ramen for free at 21:30 but we haven't tried it as such timing was too late for us. Hotel is also very close to the main attractions of the city.

This is by far the best hotel we've stayed at in Japan. The staff are helpful and welcoming, with the no-shoes policy ensuring a clean hotel. They even cleaned the wheels on our suitcases because of the tatami floor. The onsen is great. They accept tattoos IF you can cover them up. So make sure to pick up free tattoo covers in reception. The room was great with a wooden bath. All in all, an amazing hotel mixing the old with the new.

A bit noisy if you're room faces the road, but not too bad.

About 15 minutes walk to Toyama Station Bedroom very small. Pillow very hard .(Able to get soft pillow)

Good location with many shops opposite the hotel. A personal onsen bath in the hotel room is relaxing. The local buffet breakfast was excellent and free Ramen at night was delicious. It is within walking distance to the train station.

This hotel has an onsen, but just as importantly, the hot spring water is available in your room in a smallish but wooden tub. Can't beat soaking in hot spring water in your own room. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and slept on futons on the tatami mats. Breakfast selection was vast, and Japan oriented. We really enjoyed the shrimp tempura.

We didn't have time to find anything we didn't like!

Location excellent, and advice on eating places nearby very good. Onsen very good. Breakfast Ok, but could not beat another Dormy affiliate in Fukui. Very quiet hotel. Parking nearby in multi level easy to pay at hotel, also enough parking alongside entrance to unload bags before getting direction to parking. English good too.

its very nice and unique hotel. you have to prepare barefoot inside the hotel, they have tatami all around the floor, its nice and clean too. theres free udon at night on 2nd floor, also massage chair and ice cream.

the location is a bit walking from toyama station, so if u bring luggage its better you call taxi, which is around 500 yen so still okay.
