Hotel is located in between of the lively shopping/restaurant area and picturesque and green area of Sendai, remains of Aoba castle. I could go there of foot early in the morning to see sunrise which I recommend you to do. Hotel itself is quiet, has all you may need, even microvawe which is rare in hotels. Staff is kind, polite and helpful. No breakfast, but around the hotel you will find lots of restaurants.

Room size was quite spacious, better than most business hotels. Plenty of food options nearby ranging from izakayas, cafes and yakitori options. Bed was large and comfortable with a microwave and desk area. Sendai station is not exactly near but maybe a 10-20 mins walk away. A vending machine and washing machine/dryer is available on the ground floor.
The room as well as the desk has seem some wear and tear as there are scratch and damage marks. The view is directly into the building next door. The hotel reception and support is pretty limited as there is only one person manning the desk. Not a 24 hour reception/front desk as far as I could tell.

For it's standards it was pretty cheap, but that because of the goto travel campain.
It was nothing special, just a tipical japanese buisness hotel room.

Near convenient stores and restaurants
There were pile of sheet and towel bags in the elevator. The carpet in the room looked dusty and dirty. The light in the room creates shadow and you cannot open the curtain because it’s right next to the other building.

Room was very spacious for one person and quite clean. Bathroom was also really nice. Stuff did great job and location is good.
Wanted non-smoking room. Doesn't matter if you take one if there are smoking rooms in the hotel, because you will smell the cigarettes through air condition anyway. If you want to be a passive smoker, Japanese hotels are great for it. I've been in couple hotels already and same the problem occurs. Capsule hotels seem to be better choice to avoid this. I don't feel comfortable to pay more to be able to smell cigarettes -_-
