The interiors were nice, and all the staff were very friendly and ready to assist with whatever we needed - from advising us which bus or route to take that has minimal walking, to letting us borrow umbrellas when it suddenly rained, and even providing us with knife, plates and utensils when we were celebrating with a birthday cake. Breakfast was uniquely presented - conveyor belt sushi, automatic rice dispenser, and their food was delicious! We also liked that they had a separate room for the shower, sink and toilet so it let us able to do stuff more efficiently

extra pillows ran out fast. the onsen was also kinda small sized and there were a lot of people but I just waited a bit for them to clear out and was able to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor onsens.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The inn is located right next to the station so you won't need to go too far when you exit. The amenities available are second to none. 1. There is a public bathhouse on the 12F that you can use to relax after a long trip. 2. There is also a pillow area where you can get different types of pillows depending on your preference. 3. The parking does cost 600 yen but the lot is rather spacious compared to some other lots

Everything was greataà

great location as right next to the train station where we arrived by shinkansen. train station has a little "tourist office" which is convenient. tram stop only a few meters away => easy to get to the interesting places in Hakodate. I loved the lounge. it provides manga to read up there and free coffee. the view is beautiful, too. the onsen is a much appreciated feature after a long day of walking around sightseeing.

there was not much room for luggage. if you stay a few days and have big luggage better book a larger room.

The location is excellent, connecting with JR train station and surrounding with restaurants! The public bath and lounge are nice!

The hotel is super popular with so many guests in and out the hotel all day long! That is good for its business! However, there only 2 passage lifts, which is not sufficient obviously! Also, guests do not need a room card to go to the guest room floors which means anyone could visit upstairs any time and there is no control at all!! This is very different from other hotels, of which we need a card to get access to the floor !

The location of the hotel is really convenient, distance to the main tram stop, the morning market and JR station is only a couple minutes walk. Room is spacious and clean. The view from the top floor is amazing and there is a small collection of books to read from if you feel like it.

Staff is a little colder than all other hotels I have stayed at during my trip to Hokkaido. However, they are very helpful if you have any questions. Would like if they put out umbrellas when it rained or looked like it may rain as not many foreign travellers would remember to ask if they can borrow one before leaving the hotel to see what Hakodate has to offer.

Newer property, attached to train station, accessible through a walkway, just perfect during a cold winter stay. Amazing hotel and the best one during our 2 week trip in Japan. Bigger room by Japanese standards, make sure to get a twin room. It had a large sitting area between the two twin beds. More than enough room to open 2 suitcases. Had a large window which looks out towards harbor Ask for a front facing room because I’m not sure what the other side of hallway faces. 12th floor had a nice sitting area if you just wanted to chill and relax.

Everything was perfect!

Location. It's right at the station and we could just walk in after checking out from the station even though it was raining. There are many shops around, not only the Hakodate morning market, where we could buy food easily. The lounge is on 12th storey where there's free coffee and we could rest and enjoy the scenery of the surroundings. Our room faces east and we could see the sea and the mountains behind as well as the activities around the shops at the morning market. Excellent view. Cleanliness. The hotel provides 2 kinds of slippers. One disposable and the other we could use to walk around the hotel. We like the very "efficient" toilet seat with all the gadgets too. It's good that the toilet and shower are separated. We could choose and pick the amenities we need from the hotel lobby, so there's no wastage of unnecessary amenities in the room. We chose not to have our room cleaned everyday for our 3 nights' stay and we're allowed to have our towels changed. For that, we were given two bottles of pure water and trash bags to change every morning! So glad everything looks new😊👍! Truly comfortable!

Need a place to hang the bath towels.

Location adjacent to the train station. The pillow room, that's amazing! All of the amenities available in the lobby. Public bath available on the top floor. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Vending machines with everything you'll need. Breakfast buffet was amazing, but slightly confusing for those of us that can't read Japanese.

It's not free. No one tucked me in at night. Those are in jest, of course. One thing the I would really like is if they had accommodations for larger people, like myself. Sumo sized people don't get the robes or slippers that others get.

For convenience, the location just above the main JR train station was unbeatable. The hotel was newly renovated and everything was comfortable, including beds, spaciousness, toiletries, etc. WiFi was good. We booked 3 rooms, and there were all located together on the same floor, which was very nice. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a very fresh kaitenzushi (conveyor belt sushi) option in addition to plentiful Japanese themed breakfast items, and a few Western options. On the 12th floor is a communal bath and a lounge with coffee/tea and a great view, which several members of our party enjoyed. The station below has numerous shops, convenience stores, and food options. The bus terminal and tram stop were just outside the station, so very convenient to transport, and you can buy an all day pass at the station information desk.

Staff were friendly but struggled to help us find restaurant options for a large party of 7 people. Elevators were very crowded at check out time, so allow an extra 15 minutes to get to the lobby. Not much else to fault.

The room layout is different to other hotels of this type that I've stayed at, having the bathroom sink in a separate partially enclosed space while shower and toilet each were in separate rooms. It gave the room a more spacious feel and I found it comfortable and convenient. Mirrors are a bit higher than usual too. The bed was firm but comfortable. Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. One of the great features of this hotel is enclosed access from Hakodate station (it was cold outside). Breakfast was mostly Japanese fare which I found tasty and nutritious.

It may be my bad (room selection) but I would rather have been able to vape in the room - frequent trips to the smokers' lounge was a bit tedious. But that's the only winge. It was a great place to stay.
