Hakata Tokyu REI Hotel

This hotel is very convenient, just few minutes to the Hakata Train station and Bus station for the airport. Also, within walking distance to Canal shopping and the tourist spots such as the Kishida Shrine, Tenjin Shopping and others. The breakfast was the same everyday, but it has wide varieties to choose. The staffs are very helpful and they make sure the taxi arrived for you.

3 of us shared the Concept Room (on the 13th floor) with better security and other amenities. The size of the room is quite small and cramped for 3 paxs. No space for 3 luggage and a comfortable seating area in the room.

The location is great, around 10 min walk from Hakata main station. Their beds are very comfortable, and the size is not bad for 3 pax, considering it's in Japan. However, the staff collect a Hakata city tax, which doesn't apply to hotels in other cities. Their breakfast is also good.

They should have stated the city tax collection, and if they could provide mineral water or glass cups in the rooms, that would be great. Now, they are using sustainable plastic cups, which may not be cleaned for us.

Amazingly close to the Fukuoka Hakata JR station. Extremely clean rooms. Very generous sizing by Japanese standards. Huge bathroom! Amazing shower with multiple jets - very relaxing. Staff were lovely. Check out was a breeze - only took about 20 seconds. Lots of amenities on offer - soaps, razors, hairbrush etc. Like with all Tokyu hotels they have the charity donation if you don’t use the amenities which I love.

A little walk from canal city & Yatai only very short - 5-10 minutes at the most. Would be great if this hotel had an onsen also. However, there was not much to critique! The stay was great.

I stayed at this hotel 2nd time after 1st check-in. Big tidy neat and clean room and toilet. Moreover, it's very convenient staying there: Not More than 5 minutes by walk from Hakata Station, the hotel kept my luggages for my next check-in. Lastly, I request the hotel to call a taxi to the airport on Sunday early morning, one reception slightly old man tried his best to call a taxi even there's no taxi at that moment. In Summary, I'm very pleasant to stay there.

The location was very near to Hakata Station/ Bus terminal. There are family mart and 7-11 near-by. The hotel provided the basic needs for guests. The breakfast has Mentaiko which I really loved. Staff were attentive.

One of lighting in my room was missing as it seems to wait for fixing so the room got darker than what I liked. Breakfast was the same every day. However, I'm ok with it but I think others may like some difference for each day.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Hakata station. There is an escalator going down (only down) to the underpass leading to the bus terminal and station about 50m from the hotel.

The toilet & bathroom though comfortable in size lacks towel racks or hooks. There is only enough space to hang up one bath towel, which is not helpful when there’s 2 of us sharing a room. Mattress is also slightly sagging and can hear the spring at times

The breakfast was good but less choices and kept the same everyday, a bit boring! The location of your hotel is close to the Hakata Station which is very convenient for the travellers.

The open wardrobe in the room is very small and limited space for two persons. I noted that some of your hotel rooms with the same size of my room have a bigger wardrobe space. As I stayed in your hotel for 4 nights, it was not so considerate though.

the location is great, just beside Hakata station so convenient if traveling to other parts of Kyushu. we stayed in the concept room which looked relatively new. size wise was typically small but couldn’t complain as we paid 11k yen for 2 adults and 2 kids for 1 night. an absolute bargain - with complimentary breakfast as well!

couldn’t pick on a relatively new room with free breakfast at 2500 yen per pax per night.

Location is great. Room is clean and comfortable. The layout of the room is comfortabe despite the room is small. I like the air humidifier there, makes the air clean and the room won't get too dry.

The free coffee at the lobby was only available for a short period of time during the day while we were out. The pricing gets more expensive than before and is not as value for money as before.

The venue for the breakfast was clean and nice. The breakfast was good but a bit boring as stay same everyday. The hotel location was excellent and close to the Hakata Station which is great for every traveller.

The room for a couple is a bit small and the open wardrobe was quite small for two persons.
