Novo Hotel Rossi

Novo Hotel Rossi far exceeded our expectations! From the moment we checked in, the staff went over and above the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They gave us information on how to get to and from the hotel to the center whether we were walking or taking the bus (including bus numbers!). We missed our breakfast reservation one day but they made accommodations so my family could still eat before we started our long day of walking. The room was very modern and very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was great! One tip for those arriving by train, you can shorten your 10min walk if you go through the bike parking side instead of going around the church. As you exit Porta Nuova station and you're facing the street, turn left and walk towards the secure Bike Parking area (Bicipark). To the side of the bike parking is a ramp that goes up the street (very useful when hauling a large suitcase). Cross towards the post office (Poste Italiane), walk to the next corner and turn left on Case Ferrovieri Porta Nuova which is Hotel Rossi's street. This saved us at least 4mins and was a much more convenient and easier path.

Fantastic modern clean hotel. Room's big bright , comfy beds and extra pillow's. Bathroom spotless , great shower.Great location 5 minutes walk to train and bus station. 20 minute walk to city or 5mins on the bus. Breakfast buffet selection fantastic. Great idea to choose your time for breakfast. 4 different time's you could choose from. Which meant your table was set and the dining room was very relaxed. Staff amazing in particular Abraham and Julie on reception. All the girls in the breakfast we fabulous , efficient and friendly. Would definitely be back 🇮🇹

Perhaps some outdoor seating would be nice

The room is incredible, the bathroom is great and we loved the free rental bicycle service that this hotel provides. It's a great way to go to the city center. Amazing price-value hotel!!

The fixed phone light and the EXIT sign lights are probably the main complaints that I have. The AC system and the Do not Disturb system can be more clear and easy to use.

Good location, great breakfast with American coffee. Comfy and clean with friendly staff, especially Francesca who helped me book a last minute ticked for the opera, Aida, at the Arena. I booked this last minute specifically so I could attend the opera for us 100th anniversary at the arena. Everything at the hotel was exactly what I needed.

This is not about the hotel, however being a senior citizen and alone, I was a bit uncomfortable about the walk home, especially near the train station.

Great location - next to Verona Porta Nova railway station, which makes it pretty easy to travel by train to Garda Lake or the cities of your choice, like Milano or Genoa. Bus station is also there, allowing you to reach the city center in 5-7 minutes. Besides, this large park Delle Mura provides a pleasant landscape and saves you from the hot sun. Very clean and well-equipped rooms with air conditioning and strong wifi connection; our room also had a very nice mountain/old city view; friendly staff; very good breakfast, especially the pancakes:)

When we arrived the staff was very friendly and prompt. Once inside the room, the view was exceptional and unexpected. After our stay we asked the staff if we could shop around and leave out baggage with them and they did not hesitate to take care and hold our luggage for us. Very happy with our stay, and a very great value for your money. Will be back again, thank you!

The only thing I could say that could improve is that the air conditioning was not working very well, however I never asked the staff for a solution so that is my own fault. But it is stated in the amenities.

The staff on the front desk were very helpful and able to explain everything in English which was kind of them. I also heard staff organising activities, travel and food for other guests. Convenient location with the train station at the end of the street, we were happy to walk the distance into the main tourist area during the day so that our bags could stay close to the train station, rather than walking with luggage from the centre at the end of the stay if we had stayed in that area instead. The room was immaculate, very modern style and seemed newly renovated. The bathroom was really nice and everywhere clean. Air con worked great, free bottle of fizzy and still water in the mini fridge, small safe in the wardrobe, comfortable bed, able to leave luggage for the day after check out.

We had amazing stay. We loved our room, very very clean, comfy beds, girls looked after tidying everyday and leaving us essentials. Reception and breakfast staff very friendly also. Lovely breakfast. In reception we got everything what we asked for, as well as advise on where to go; map was provided too. Location is just unbelievable: train station is 4 min away (we went to Florence); other main attractions just 17 min walking away.

We liked absolutely everything about this hotel.

The staff here were great – helpful, efficient, and friendly. Willing to help give directions and issue bus tickets, etc. Hotel is fairly basic but the staff make up for it with good customer service – from front desk to cleaning staff. Hotel is also about a 7 minute walk from train station (although a bit uphill) which was convenient for us as we were traveling by train. It was a 20 minute walk into central Verona from the hotel or a short taxi or bus ride.

The only negative was that we had put Do Not Disturb button on when we went out and hotel staff still entered and cleaned room that day even though we did not want them to do so. So I think having physical Do Not Disturb door tags would be better as the lights seem to be ignored.

The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Upon arrival we were given a map of Verona, which we were guided through including the main attractions, places to go, approximate distance and time to get there as well as information on taxis (including cost) and other modes of transport. While the hotel is located outside of the main town it is an easy walk (20 mins) to the Arena and main thoroughfare with restaurants/cafés on the way. We rented a Verona bike on our last day and the trip back to the hotel was lovely, with easy parking of the bike at the train station, would love to have used it more. Would stay in the hotel again if ever passing through Verona!

It's a bit outside of the town so no bars around the hotel but only a short walk to the centre. We were aware of the distance and the hotel location suited us (located near the train station) so it was not an issue for us but could be a negative for other guests.
