Hotel Petit Palais

Everything! The staff at this place is kind, generous, helpful, and friendly. Their smiling faces were the best way to start and end each day; they really made the stay better. The room was a 3rd-floor king bed facing the beach, and it was perfect. The bed is comfortable and there are plenty of pillows and a couple chairs and a table. It’s spotlessly clean. We got married on the beach in front of the cabanas, and it was magical. The staff helped coordinate with our wedding planner. The breakfast buffet every morning had anything you’d want - eggs, bacon, yogurt, granola, meats/cheeses, fruit, pastries, and all drinks. The staff will help with where to eat, how to work transportation, and questions about activities.

I really like this hotel, I sure will visit you again. The location was great, hotel check-in and check-out was smooth, fast, staff was very very friendly, breakfast was very good, I was so full every time :D our room was very confy, nice view, large window, bathroom was very clean and nice, everything was there what we needed, also a large closet for clothes, minibar (w didn't use it, but it was available), bed was confy, we liked it. And of course huge thanks for the special extras I asked you, thank you so much! And the tiny birthday cake was a surprise our last breakfast, thanks!! I really recommend this hotel !

A great place to stay at. In a peaceful area, super easy to get to, both on feet and by using public transportation. The members of the staff were really hospitable and helpful, probably the greatest experience I've had so far, delicious and varietal breakfast and I've had a comfortable room. The beach was really close-by, stores and restaurants were also at a reasonable distance. The perfect getaway from Venice itself after a busy day of exploring the city. Would highly recommend and wouldn't mind returning in the future either.

Excellent room, with a large comfortable and firm bed. Excellent air conditioning which was easy to control and was responsive. Staff were excellent and provided great customer service, in particular Barbara was very helpful. Good breakfast with excellent choice. Good location lose to a beach.

A little bit of of communal outside space to relax would have improved our stay, also a bar to enjoy a drink with fellow guests. There was a bar stocked with spirits but we never saw it staffed and wasn’t advertised as such.

Lido is a perfect location to enjoy for its own merits - calm, peaceful and easy access to numerous beaches; as well as being in close proximity to Venice island (15 min boat ride). The hotel location was just perfect - beside the beach and close to a decent range of restaurants etc. Staff were wonderful - helpful and inviting. Breakfast provided a range to suit all tastes - from cold cuts to cheese, fresh fruit, cereals, various juices, breads and pastries and THE most amazing cappucinos. Rooms vary in size and prospect...I would recommend the comfort/superior range with sea views...well worth the extra few euro as you will overlook gardens and an exquisite beach front.

Snack/coffee bar facilities would have been nice to have during the afternoon, although there was one right next door on the beach. My particular room (a corner-of-building room) was somewhat dark with the only natural light coming from a relatively small french/balcony door.

A great place to spend some time in Venice. The reception staff was extremely helpful. They helped us with may useful informations. Thank you! The room was small but comfortable, but the bed was large (and comfortable). We received cocktails on the day of our arrival. The breakfast was great with lots of choises and good coffee. Overall a great experience, hope to come back

There were no slippers or bath robes, however this was not a major issue for us.

The Hotel overlooks the Adriatic and the expansive window gave an excellent view plus a balcony to the side to also enjoy the view. Beach access just out the door and beach towels provided. No restaurant but many a short walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room with seats and desk. Bathroom and shower very nice. It was hot and air-con set to a reasonable limit to just cool enough.

Rooms were very modern and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. In the evening really recommend BAGNO MARCONI to eat and drink which is 2 minute walk

Having to pay to go on the beach out side the hotel. There is a public beach about 15mins away but the hotel does say it is on the beach. Prices range from €80 - €190 to go on the beach in front of the hotel per day.

The location was lovely, with great public transport links to the other districts in Venice. Lido was quieter so you could unwind at the end of the day. The hotel staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful with any questions. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast had a nice varied selection.

The only thing missing was a restaurant in the hotel; however, there were plenty within walking distance and the hotel staff gave good recommendations so it wasn't a big issue.
