Hotel Nuovo Teson

Lovely, quiet, spotlessly clean hotel in a great location just a twelve minute walk from St Mark's Square and close to the Arsenale Vaporetto stop. Very friendly staff who kindly let me practice my Italian. Comfortable bed, fantastic shower, tasty breakfast and good facilities in the room. We had a great stay here.

The room would have been much better suited to a couple than a mother and daughter or a couple of friends. There was a clear glass door on the shower and no lock on the bathroom door. We were also up three flights of narrow stairs which was fine for us but if you have mobility issues it would probably be best to request a room on the first floor.

The staff especially Lara and a tall gentleman whose name we didn't get. Breakfast, location and room size were fabulous.

The bed was a little hard but not too bad and also maybe powdered milk sachets or milk pods for us English who like milk in tea. My partner is a tall man so the shower was a little small

This is a lovely small property, in a great location, bed was comfy, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. restaurants and cafe very close by. room is a little on the small side, (dont think rooms are that big tbh in Italy anyway, so didnt expect it),but it had everything we wanted. we were in the annex next door to hotel, it was hard work climbing the stairs after a long day walking but we are fairly fit and didnt mind too much. we ate at the cleopatra in the court yard next to hotel twice, food was good and very reasonable too, good service. would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Staff were fantastic and were very accommodating, warm and informative. There is no lift, but the staff is always there to help out. The location was perfect to get to Arsenale and Gardini, where the Venice Biennale is located and about 15 mins from the Rialto bridge where most shops are. Best thing is its location to the port terminals. Only about 7 minutes away from Arsenale port.

A mosquito came through the window when I left it open. So when I was looking for it on the ceiling, I noticed dust on the light fixture. You wouldn't notice it at all if you don't go looking for it.

Excellent location near water bus and St. Mark's. Great breakfast, helpful staff, nice rooms.

The hotel staff ordered an early morning water taxi to the airport for us which did not arrive. This problem however, was rectified when the night clerk ordered a replacement taxi and personally made sure it picked us up. I do not fault the staff who placed the original taxi order, but perhaps they should find out why this boat did not arrive as scheduled.

The location was near to the attractions. And there were lot of restaurants nearby places. Breakfast was good . Restaurant staff was good. And the guy who checked in us to the hotel was nice and friendly.

There is no lift. Also as per thier communication I took water bus from railway station to the nearby station, and waked for 30 minutes in hot sun. It was horrible experience. Later I found that there was one more nearby station I could have used.

The room looked great decor to suit the older building but including a super modern two level power shower,, separate toilet with bidet, a mini fridge and a wardrobe light that came on when you opened it. Loads of pillows and bed so comfortable. And loads of clean fluffy towels

There were noises from folk moving about from upstairs but it is an old building. The front door was stiff to unlock, that could be a worry in a fire. Kettle lid was loose but it worked fine.

The best hotel in Venice.Modern room,clean,affordable price.We loved the breakfast,lots of options.But the most important of all and what really impressed us was the staff.Very polite people that helped us with everything we needed.Our flight was really early in the morning and there was a strike but the searched everything and helped us.The also provided information about the restaurants and places we wanted to visit.I highly recommend this hotel.Thank you for everything!

We stayed in the annex which is right next to the hotel in room B. The room was immaculate with everything you need ( and the best wi-fi i connection i have ever had in a hotel) . The location is great. The reception staff are superb and very helpful. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and breakfast is good with a wide selection of options. Our room had a superb large shower (separate to the bathroom) which was great. The pictures do not do the room justice!

I must say that room was beautiful and super clean and comfy. The breakfast was amazing !

We were quite cold, the only heater working was in the bathroom 😀. But it’s probably normally in February. Next issue is that u can literally heard everything from neighbours (water, toilet or them speaking) so u should be aware of it. Also no slippers are provided (was in the list).
