The hotel was beautiful, the location was excellent on the Grand Canal waterfront a minute walk from The Rialto Bridge. The room was spacious and decorated in the Venetian style with a modern bathroom with a lovely big modern walk in shower. Tea and coffee facilities, and a mini fridge with mineral water. The hotel is located on the 4th floor so you need to be fit to walk up and down all the stairs and you have to be prepared to carry your luggage up but it's well worth it for the views from the breakfast room. I saw other people say the breakfast choice wasn't good, I'd completely disagree. The hotel offered freshly made omelettes with a choice of ham, salami and cheese. Fresh fruit salad. Yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, fresh pastries and breads, cheese, James, Nutella. Fresh juice and coffee. We enjoyed our stay immensely and I would highly recommend the hotel. It was also great for the airport transfer and vaparettos.

Everything! we wanted a ‘Venetian’ experience…and we were not disappointed, the room was beautifully decorated, cosy exceptionally clean and had everything we wanted and needed for our stay. Sadly we didn’t experience breakfast in the dining room overlooking the grand canal ( due to having the luxury of long lie ins) but the room was as beautiful as the rest of the hotel and view amazing. The hotel was perfectly located , very central and easy to find from the bus station (even at night) it took us about 15-20 minutes to walk there. The people working at the hotel were friendly and really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The much maligned stairs ( which are well advertised I hasten to add) are really not that bad and the experience when you reach the top well worth the climb. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning !😊

Nothing everything was just as we wanted

Everything was great! The staff are all very friendly and speak English which was very helpful. Breakfast is delicious, they make eggs for you however you like them and also give a meat, cheese, and bread. Juices, cereal, and coffee are also available. The breakfast area has a view of the canal. Rooms are clean and comfortable with tea and a kettle, they also have a little library of books and games. I loved picking a book and just reading by the canal during my time in Venice.

The stairs were difficult to climb with luggage, but they tell you when booking so we were aware. Just a tip, take the ferry to the hotel from the train station! We saw 20 minute walk on the GPS and figured we’d just walk it, but we probably carried our luggage up 20 bridges on the way and then also had to lug our suitcases up those 3 flights of stairs.

A superb location adjacent to the Rialto Bridge. A hotel of great character which added to our stay in Venice. Very generous breakfast with plenty of good choices. Picture window in the breakfast area looks out over the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. Our room overlooked that roofs of adjacent buildings and we had no noise whatsoever. A very peaceful nights sleep.

We were well advised and warned that the steps to the hotel could be a barrier for the unfit or infirm and I would agree with that; but it did not stop our enjoyment of this hotel and we would stay there again. I would certainly recommend it with the caveat that the steps can be a hard climb with full suitcases.

Huge plus: the personel is really nice & kind. Also, they're very professional, Plus: The room is lookin more beautiful in reality than in the pictures in my opinion Plus: AC working properly and smart tv

Small minus: The breakfast in a way, because it's italian stlyle, so not so many things to chose, but definetly is not a big minus because you still have the basics to enjoy a good breakfast Very small minus:In our case there was no shower gel in the room, but it wasn't any problem since we got one from a shop.

Everything was good, the hotel was very central, close to everything including the water bus, no noises from street. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed it. even though the hotel was on the 3rd floor but it was OK because the rooms took us back in time, all fixtures were renewed and updated even though it looked like old, very good facilities in the room and bathroom.

Breakfast need updates. Self serving American cafe was not good, but you can ask dem to make other type cafes and you will get good cafe with smile.

Amazing location, right next to Rialto Bridge and walking distance to most places. The hotel gave us a room upgrade which was a few doors down (outside of the hotel itself) but meant that the bedroom was extra large and came with a kitchen and living room - the phone was still connected to the hotel and wifi details were the same so that was also good. Bedroom had a huge TV which was a nice touch. Breakfast was simple but adequate and had a great view.

Heating was a bit temperamental but that was minor really.

The location of the hotel is next to Rialto Bridge with lots of nice restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. The room was clean and big enough to make you feel comfortable. Please be aware of the fact that the majority of the rooms do not have view to the Grand Canal but to the right side of the building. The breakfast is just enough to give you a good start in the day, nothing fancy - I would classify it as average. What makes it a lot better is the lovely view that you have from the restaurant to the Grand Canal.

- Our room - the super kind service in the middle of the night when we got stuck in the hail storm and when our originally booked hotel let us down - the cakes during the day - the view from our room :) (we had a junior suite. wasn't really a suite but still nice) - our suite was right next to the breakfast room but somehow we still slept super well!

- I can't think of anything right now. we just appreciated the checkin at night and helpful answers when we were super tired.

Location was amazing! The junior suite with a view of Rialto bridge was beautiful!! Other double room was ok and bathroom facilities good. Staff very helpful and communicating with them via booking.com was easy.

Although they did mention there were 3 flights of stairs in all communication to us, we still found it was very difficult with suitcases. But as mentioned, the hotel did advise this to us in all correspondence prior to our arrival.
