Extremely comfortable bed, great view, excellent air conditioning - overall great room. Maurice was fantastic and really made our stay. He pre-booked our beach club days and self-drive boat which was all great experiences. He had great recommendations for local restaurants also. Towards the end of a long trip it was really great to have someone to advise and arrange these for us.

As advertised, there are stairs and they are quite steep and narrow. We managed them fine with our large suitcases but something to be mindful of if you struggle with stairs.

Excellent location, very central and with a magnificent view of the sea and the Sanctuary The room with all the amenities (even to cook and eat there). We were received with a fine selection of regional food and wine. The wiffi worked very well at all times. We want to highlight the dedicated attention of Maurizio, who guided us with very good recommendations of restaurants and also helped us a lot to manage our transfers. He was always attentive to respond immediately to any need. Highly recommended, we would go again, willing to pay the cost of a room with sea view (we didn't and we think it would have been worth it).

Even before our arrival, the staff was wonderful communicating with us on WhatsApp, sending a map how to get to the apartment from the station etc. When we reached the place, two ladies were waiting for us and helped us carry the luggage up the stairs. Upstairs, we were greeted by unexpected welcome gifts - a bottle of really good wine and a basket of food products typical for the area. Throughout the stay, Maurizio kept making sure we had everything we needed. It was also no problem to have them book a taxi for our early morning departure. The bed was big and very comfortable, the room was modern and equipped with everything we needed. I left the best for last - the balcony and the view. It was unreal! Every single sunset and sunrise was amazing, people on the nearby terrace were crowding to see the kind of view that we could leisurely watch from our balcony.

The stairs would be a problem for someone with mobility issues. Just noting this for anyone who may have a problem with that.

oh my god! EVERYTHING! Beach Cottage vibe with awesome modern amenities!! We were in a beautiful apartment with THE MOST GLORIOUS VIEW. But aside from the amazing view, the little kitchen had everything you could need for a short stay. I was able to cook delicious meals and eat either indoors or on the balcony. The bed was so comfortable, the shower had great pressure and hot water. Water pressure throughout was great. The windows had three settings for opening for air flow. The apartment includes options for you to dry your swimsuit. Even the smart TV welcome screen had a great menu which featured specials that you can access just by staying here. But the BEST PART about staying here is the owners. Even before I got there Maurizio was whatsapping with us and arranged our pick up from the train station, arrange the most EPIC boat tour for us and other hook ups with restaurants etc. He is so patient and he and his family were wonderful!You are utterly spoiled!!

Wasn’t an issue for us but there are stairs everywhere in Tropea including inside to get to the apartment so if you have an issue with stairs maybe ask for the room and not the apartment

The apartment is luxurious, decorated in a good taste and has all the modern comfort one can dream of, with a breathtaking clifftop 180 degrees seaview (includes Stromboli and the romantic Santa Maria dell'Isola church). It has a prime location right next to the beautiful old city and also close to beaches. The kitchen is also, well equiped. At arrival, a gift basket waited for us with small bites and a bottle of wine which we enjoyed at candlelight (all provided). The host, senor Maurizio is an amazing communicator, very polite and articulate, provided us with absolutely all the details we needed for our stay: the best restaurants, how to get to the best beaches, etc and was very attentive to our needs, attentive, kind and accomodating. We had an amazing stay and would definately recommend it, 10 out 10.

We hated leaving.

We really enjoyed our week in Tropea, staying here was so easy, close to the centre but out of the way so it was quiet. Within 10 seconds from the leaving the door you're in the busy streets of Tropea and very close to the steps down to the beach. Stayed in the internal room, Santa Maria, which is really well decorated and well equipped. Good espresso machine, hairdryer, wardrobes and good air con. The room was Incredibly quiet and you couldn't hear much road noise until going outside into Tropea. Maurizio was very helpful before and throughout our stay. He arranged a taxi from the airport and also a boat tour for us to stromboli which you should definitely do. He also booked us in for parasailing but that was cancelled due to strong winds. Maurizio kept in touch on WhatsApp giving us tips on where to eat etc. La Lamia was our favourite restaurant If we come back to Tropea we will definitely stay here again

great location, rooms are equipped with everything you need. Newly renovated. perfect for two people, steps from the beach and main strip. Maurizio is a great host, easy to get ahold of and responds very quickly. We were lucky and found parking outside the unit, but typically you need to drop off your luggage and park else where, just a 4min walk.

Unit does not have a washer and dryer, but there is a laundry mart 400m away from the unit, so easy and not that expensive. he does have a rack to dry your clothes outside the unit.

We really enjoyed our stay at apartment. I appreciate the interest in the customer. Daughter of owner have found us on street upon the later arrival to accomodate us, everything explained in english, it was nice. I'd like to describe the area of Tropea, beaches, restaurants and shops, but you must discover it and to experience it on your own to have the best memories on holiday in Italy. Thank you! xxx

There's always something you can improve, but we like it as it was and don't forget, most important is atmosphere on holiday you make it on your own!😉 If we'd ever return, we'd choose this accomodation again. Thank you, Maurizio!

We rented two apartments which were connected by a small hallway. The city view apartment was a bit smaller but perfect for the single traveler in our group. If there is a choice between the two apartments, hands down choose the beach view apartment (in fact, I would only choose the city view apartment to keep travelers within the same group together). Watching the sun set over the Aeolian Islands every evening was one of the highlights of our trip. The apartment is perfectly situated—2 minutes walking to the historical center, situated right next to the stairs leading down to Tropea’s beaches. The host was always readily available to us for any questions and needs. We didn’t use the kitchen, but the apartment was fully equipped.

The bathroom floors did need to be clorax wiped down by us as did the desk.

Oh my goodness it was wonderful! Excellent location! Right next to the historic city center. The apartment was awesome and beautifully appointed! And Maurizio was the best host! Always attentive and making sure my stay went well! 10 out of 10! Bravo!

Everything was top notch, highest quality and excellent…absolutely perfect!
