Nuovo Albergo Centro

Our first impression was Yikes! The “hotel” is on the second floor of a 19th Century apartment building . The entrance lobby was gloomy and in need of fresh paint. However, once you “discover” and enter Nuovo Alberto, it’s another world, clean and modern with a good breakfast served by cheerful people. But, the location is the best. A block away is the Grand Canal lined with some pretty good restaurants. Nearby is the statue of James Joyce and the harbor walk.

The “lobby” needs a makeover with better lighting and a fresh coat of paint.

Thank you all again for everything. We had a very good stay. And apologize again for leaving without paying, which we misunderstood that we had paid through booking.com.

Tips for the followers: It would be difficult by car to download your luggages in front of the main gate of the hotel. the street was narrow, one-way, impossible to even pull over one minute. You’d better find a parking space after turning right or left first, not far. The reception desk was on the first floor reaching by elevator. receptionist was very helpful to recommend you the parking lot.

Very kind receptionist, we communicated over Whatsapp over earlier check in. We could check in an hour earlier since we arrived to the city with a baby. Room was comfortable, warm and clean. Very pleasant nice lady at breakfast in the morning. Parking is available in few parking spots which hotel kindly sends you informations on Whatsapp. It's possible to shortly park in front of the hotel to take the luggage up. Also accros the street parking is available ( blue lines only ) but at much expensive rate than parking areas hotel sends you.

No complaints

The hotel location is perfect just a few minutes away from the city centre. Very clean rooms ! Breakfast was delicious had a lot of variety! Staff were very nice and felt safe. I booked the room with the external private bathroom which was opposite of our rooms did not mind at all as you have a separate key to enter the bathroom and it was really clean. Very well recommended hotel loved it !

At first when you enter the building it looks like an old building. Once you arrive on the first floor you feel welcome and a modern hotel on the inside

the hotel has a perfect location in the middle of the city the car can be parked nearby (daily rate: EUR 15,-- / as of Sept. 2022) ... this information was communicated by the hotel via WhatsApp (thanks for that) generally quick and targeted communication by the hotel the hotel is in an old building, the first impression when entering the house is a bit frightening, but as soon as you get from the staircase to the reception you get a completely different picture the owners/operators of the Hotel have designed it very nicely

Absolutely in the central. Brand new renovated, superclean rooms, total comfy bed, good air conditioning system. Breakfast was Ok. Parking nearby in the street (8:00-20:00 coin parking machine). It was a one night stay with family, but definitely would stay more next time. 350 m walking distance from Illy shop, Piazza dell’Unita d’Italia. The main square was gorgeus by night.

There was no fridge in the room… for a longer summer stay it would be definitely needed.

City centre. Nice small room. We got a terrace. It was clean, big bed and a lot of natural light in the morning because high windows. Breakfast is okay.

There is slide door between bathroom and sleeping area. Because it's a small room you can feel and hear everything. A bit confusing about the intercom and entering the hotel and the area were the rooms are. Thin walls and you can hear tv in the other room. You don't get water in the room, so bring your own. We thought that's going to be vending machine at least, but we didn't find it.

Excellent location near Grand Canal. Air conditioning and WI Fi worked well. Room was quiet and breakfast was good with some vegan options. Generally better than it's rating suggests. Staff were friendly and we were able to leave our luggage after checking out, although was in an open area visible by reception staff, not a locked room.

No kettle etc in room but was a two star hotel. Breakfast room was small so had to pick a time slot. The entrance hallway immediately off the street was rather scruffy and did not not give the best impression. Actual hotel floors were fine though

Location was excellent; hotel was lovely, modern and clean room with good a c and wifi, comfy beds and really good breakfast. Quiet too. Easy walk from bus/ train station and also to Trieste piazzas and Grand Canal I really.like it. Note there are several hotels in the same building, as well as private apartments, it is a common lobby. Nuovo Centro up one flight of stairs

The breakfast was amazing! The staff was very kind and helpful. The bathroom was right outside of the room. The AC cooled the room quickly. The location is perfect, close to the center.

No parking is available, but we found a parking house close to the hotel. The sound insulation of the rooms wasn't great, other guests were very loud during the night.
