B&B Hotel Trieste

Very close to train station and about 10/15min walk to cruise port. Supermarket, cafes and bars nearby. Big room with balcony overlooking the square. Vending machines and microwave available. Could not check in early but there was a luggage room available. Complimentary water bottles were a nice touch.

Bathroom was a step higher than the room, a very high step, making it difficult for someone to get in and out of it. A smaller step in between would make a big difference. Not that many restaurants nearby.

The hotel is across the square from the main railway station, which was a key consideration as I had a 6am train to catch. The old town is a further 10 - 15 minutes walk away. The reception staff were efficient as regards check-in and in buying breakfast for one of the two nights of the stay. The breakfast had plenty of choice and as good value for money. The room was large, clean and comfortable and was quiet and all appliances worked. The staff on reception also provided good recommendations for places to eat.

While appreciating the email, checking if everything was OK with the room, There were too many automated emails asking me to score the property. The hotel chain should trust its customers to make their own judgements.

We were looking for some overnight accommodation after arriving by train and leaving by ferry the following day. The hotel was only a few minutes from the train station at Trieste and about 15 minutes walk from the ferry port. We had a lovely walk through the town visiting shops and markets. There was lots to see and places to eat within walking distance. The location of the hotel was fabulous. The young woman working at reception was very helpful and welcoming. The room was basic but clean and suited our purposes for an overnight stay.

The room was small and there were no facilities for making hot drinks or a fridge. There was a small kitchen area in the lobby however.

It was everything OK. Nice spacious room, 1 min from the train station. I'd like to highlight the breakfast: excellent! The neighbourhood is like every other city around train stations in return, public transport is excellent. 3 stops from city centre, 10 min from lido by bus. There is no parking option, so we put our car to a park house with CCTV for 13 EUR/24 hours, it is 3 min walk from the Hotel.

The mattress was quite soft, but that's a matter of taste.

Exactly like described. Check-in went smooth with all needed info (staff was welcoming, informative, and helpful, all with sincere smiles <3 ), and the room was just as in the pictures, spotlessly clean. The location is perfect if you need to be close to the Station, and yet it is close to the city's main attractions reachable in minutes on foot. Did I mention the breakfast? Surprisingly for Italy in general, the breakfast was FAB with so many options! For a short, transit stay, this was the perfect option!

Only a couple of power outlets. So smaaaall window, but hey, that was what I booked (saw the pictures, it was as presented), and for a short stay, it was not that big of a deal.

Stunning room, perfect location, good breakfast. We loved it.

Positve critics. Complimentary coffee in the room will be great. Just a small kettle with instant coffee or coffee pots chargeable to the room. We have travel alot of hours to get to our destination. Please concidder early bookings or atleast a rest room that you can sit and relax, a complimentary coffee will not affect your bottom line but in this awesome hotel will set you even futher apart from your competitors.

The staff members were helpful and friendly. The location could not have been better! We enjoyed the small lounge, and the convenience of buying food at the very nearby supermarket and eating it in the lounge.

We arrived very late, and although we had already sent in copies of our passport, we had to go through a complicated self check-in process. However, it made me feel safe!

I had my train cancelled the night before preventing me from arriving. The room was non-refundable but the staff were kind enough to allow me to use the booking for the following night, which was very much appreciated. The room was very spacious and super clean, and staff are great, very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The air - conditioner didn't seem to want to go cooler, but could have just been me not operating it correctly! I had trouble connecting to the TV as they offer Chromecast, but I was out all day and night so didn't matter to me anyway. The pillows are common to many establishments these days and are nice and fluffy until you sleep on them and I find the air squashes out and they go hard and flat.

A very quick one night stay as a lay over while visiting friends in the area. The Hotel is well centrally located by the train station with places nearby to grab something to eat. It is a train station area so location is a bit sketchy not the Hotel fault all in all I felt safe and nothing to complain. The staff was super helpful and nice.

Really not much to say about what could be improved. I was late for breakfast (by 10 am as many places do) a few minutes and all was closed already my fault but maybe a bit of extra room I would have saved the 5 Euro promotion breakfast I did not use. I did not ask for refund or anything, make sure wake up in time!

We expected just B&B, but landed in really good hotel! Locations is really good for train travelers as it is close to train station. It is also close to the very city center. The room was very clean, fresh, beds extremely comfortable, huge bathroom, silent conditioning. All the stuff is very helpful - at the reception, at breakfast place - no matter where you meet personal they are willing to help and answer to your most silly questions. Big thanks to them! Breakfast was very good and worth those money you pay. Strongly recommended!
