Hotel Marina

We loved this little hotel room because it was very clean and and had a very comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. We also had an excellent breakfast that was included that had a good variety of choices and was in a nice environment on top the hotel surrounded bay lemon trees. The staff was excellent and very responsive and friendly. It had a very good air conditioner and small refer which was a nice surprise! We were also able to borrow beach umbrellas, beach towels and a kayak. This hotel is a crown jewel!! This was probably our favorite place to stay during our trip to Italy!! I would highly recommend it!

The property is great. The bathrooms were really nice. The breakfast was great. The location is great. It was super comfortable. Air conditioning strong! Staff very friendly. Would stay again!

The floor was really dirty- did not look like it had been cleaned. I didn’t use the blow dryer because it looked really dirty and had hair on it. The surfaces didn’t look like they were wiped down properly. Wish they had more than just a squeeze bottle of soap in the shower.

This place is a perfect spot in old town Monterroso. We stayed for a long weekend but wish we had longer. The room was cleaned daily, had a good aircon, really comfy and specious bed and a little outside space to hang your towels and swimwear. We had everything we needed and slept really well. Delicious breakfast is served on top terrace under the lemon trees with a beautiful view. This hotel is also connected to a cute little restaurant just down the road which we tried on our last night and the food was the best we had the whole weekend so you must try this hidden gem!! Ask at the reception to direct you. There is a really nice beach just 5 min away from the Hotel (Bagni Alga) and worth booking day early to get a good spot or can just turn up on the day (you pay when you get there) WhatsApp business account to get your booking reservation on +39 353 374 8570 There is another bigger and longer beach in the new town (10 min walk) but much busier so be early if you fancy this one / 9am opening. Monterroso is a great location to explore the other stunning villages as you can just jump the train to whichever you fancy - it's quick and super easy to get around. You'll love this coast, it's stunning! We escaped Milano (3hr away with 1 change but so worth it) but be early at the station to get your seat 20/25min if going from Centrale and not taking the fast train (they get booked up quick so get your tickets on the train app but make sure you do that early) Must try : Torre Aurora Mare Cucina & Coctails - worth a booking or can just turn up for cocktails with the best view! Bar Ristorante il Casello - - perfect spot for lunch with a view or break from the Alga beach when hungry and thirsty (2 min up the hill from the beach) We felt very well looked after at Hotel Marina and all the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Perfect for a long or short stay!

Fabulous room, very comfortable, good awareness and real actions on recycling and free water refill station to reduce plastic use. Very friendly staff, on check out i could leave my suitcase and they lend me a towel for w few hours on the beach before my train. excellent breakfast with much choice and american coffee for those who like that, in the lovely roof garden. An elevator makes the stairs no issue with your luggage, but be aware if you have mobility issues that the last stair to the roof for breakfast needs to be walked. This is a lovely, well organised and comfortable place in a quiet side street of the centre of Monterosso town. Highly recommended.

Unlimited breakfast on the rooftop patio, sitting in the morning sunlight surrounded by lemon trees. Location was fantastic. The whole of old Monterosso was right outside our door, and yet it was quiet at night. It was a short walk through the tunnel and along the sea front to reach the station. Trains to all the other Cinqueterra towns were so frequent we never needed a timetable. At the weekend the town was very crowded, but because we were staying in the centre of things, we could retire to our room for some peace and quiet.

sweet room in a typical Italian romantic look in a great location. even had a little terrace. great breakfast lovingly prepared, served on a rooftop filled with lemon trees. friendly and always smiling staff that do all to make your stay memorable. I booked the hotel only one day inadvance as a pre-birthday surprise for my husband. asked if the hotel would be able to put a simple card in the room with happy birthday on it, and was touched to see they added extras as well. The entire feeling of the hotel is like you are not only a guest but a welcome one!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marina. The service was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was just like the pictures. We really liked the location in Old Town. Great access to all the shops and restaurants and good access to the beach. They even provided beach towels at reception. We would love to stay here again when we return to Monterosso!

Just steps from restaurants and shops but tucked away in a quiet location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The roof garden where breakfast was served was lovely and breakfast was prepared to order. Our room was well appointed with a pretty large bathroom. We had a little balcony and a fridge which is always nice. We loved the girl abs would definitely stay again.

The reception desk is open from 8:30am until 6pm so you need to pay by 6pm the day before if you are leaving before 8:30am. They do have a button to call someone after hours but we didn't understand the instructions. We walked down to their restaurant and one of the employees came right away to help us with our bill. Everything worked out but it was a little odd.
