* Hospitality was second to none (you're basically family when you're there) * Location on the rising base of Etna is gorgeous (she blew up when we were there as a bonus!) * Very cozy room and a light but plentiful breakfast (speak to the owners if you want something specific for breakfast) * A nice place as a starting part to all parts of the island * Very clean room/bathroom (good pressure in shower, hot, etc...) * Dona!

* Wifi signal in external guest house is weak (a room in the main villa would be fine, but if you plan to work on holiday the wifi in the external guest house where I stayed will not suffice) ... wasn't really an issue for me, but just a heads up.

the property is a studio flat on the host’s land next to his house. It was so cute and cosy and comfortable for a family of 4. we were always welcomed to the main house for breakfast by the owner who was super kind and always gives us information and recommendations for the day. breakfast was always good and fresh with a variety of options to suit us all. the property itself is in a small village very close to Etna and it took us only a 15-20 min drive to get to Etna. We visited a number of places while there with our car so the location was quite idyllic and of course the view in the morning doesn’t hurt :).

The property was really nice, the only small thing which I can say was a little inconvenient for us was that the kitchen was a little too small for us however we always managed to do what we needed so it wasn’t a major drawback.

B&B like Domus Verdana are these gems we look for, when traveling. The best value of this offer are the hosts 😊 The owners live in the same building and are incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. They offer homemade breakfast, including home made jams and a cake baked by their neighbour! They invite you to their personal spacer (living room and dining room). You can share this meal with other guests. They do their best so that your stay is perfect: In our case the host offered to prepare breakfast for us at 7.00, event though we had to leave for the airport at 7.30 AM and the host was at the party the previous evening 🙏🥰 When we will come to Sicily again, we will definitely stay at this place again!

Everything was more than perfect. Dreamlocation, perfect hosts, what more can you ask for? Breakfast was fresh every day prepared As a bonus, a very kind dog :) If you want to explore the surroundings of Etna and/or Catania, this is the best place to be. A short drive of 35-40 minutes from Catania Airport by car.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful location and excellent for reaching both Etna and surrounding towns. A real unexpected bonus is that we felt like we were staying with friends: Vincenzo and Daniela (and their son Giulio and dog Dana) are welcoming, friendly and caring. They helped us organise excursions, invited us over for drinks with their family.... we loved staying with them!

Nothing really! The bed and pillows weren't ideal for us (still much better than in most places!!) but this is very much dependent on personal preferences.

!!!The whole experience was fantastic! Great accommodations, fabulous hosts!!! so friendly and informative! Helped us make dinner reservations at restaurants that they recommend, which also had delicious food. The breakfast was very wonderful. Delicious bread, homemade jam I didn't want to stop eating. Rooms and property clean and safe and comfortable. PLUS, you can get excursions that pick you up at the bed and breakfast. Ask Vincenzo about them. We did a jeep tour, but had to drive to Catania (we don't regret our choice,) but something to keep in mind A shoe w a left behind and they are trying to get it to us in Syracuse. SUCH WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!

The stronges points the hospitality of Vincenzo. Arriving at a warm Sicilian family with dog Dana. We had bad luck with the rental car. Even after leaving their B*B, we were aked how it went. Very nice people. The breakfast also was very good and all fresh. Sicilians love very sweet breakfasts (sweet coffee cakes) and a taosted sandwich. Homemade jam was delightful here. We we're very happy with this breakfast, we got also normal white and brown bread too with cheese, ham. The location is sublime for a walk on the Etna. Thank you for everything !

A charming, personal location away from the tourist crowds of Nicosia or Zafferana Etna yet near one of the two southern routes up to the Etna cable car. Vincenzo and Daniela are kind hosts and the rooms in their lovely villa are spacious, comfortable and like home away from home. They provide an ample breakfast with the company of their very sweet dog, Dona (but only if you enjoy her). Also, there's both a mini frig and a water boiling pot with a tea service in each room. I really enjoyed my late afternoon and evening cups of tea!

It was wonderful! The willa is located few km from Etna which was perfect for us. The view from the window and the house itself is just gorgeous. We had a breakfast in the living room and we felt like a royal family really :) It was delicious and we drank and ate from a porcelain 😍 The property has a big garden and we could hear birds singing just before dawn and in the morning. We loved it! Totally recommend! PS. There is a cute dog living in the house :)

The hosts were fantastic and super helpful with advice on local restaurants and logistics for a hike up Mt Etna. The location worked really well as a kick-off point for our hike up Mt Etna. The breakfast was excellent.
