Hotel Conca d'Oro

The view was amazing with a picturesque view of Positano and the sea. You could also enjoy the view on their rooftop with a jacuzzi (not heated though) as well as the breakfast dining area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Porters also helped us with the luggage. The place felt very clean and had nice decorative touches. It was a beautiful spot to stay in.

The rooms were a little small and quite expensive for what you got - but I understand that this is Positano on the Amalfi Coast and space is a premium, all the more if you have a lovely view. Note that you have to climb stairs to reach the hotel which might make it difficult for elderly people to access.

great views, and it was quiet. i was also able to walk directly to the beach after going down many stairs.

i booked a room with a ocean facing terrace and there was a huge tree blocking 30% of my view. it also cost 50 Euros a day to park my rental car. there are many stairs to reach the hotel from the Parking area. i kind of enjoyed the exercise, but it’s not for everyone.

Tucked up the hill and slightly more away from central Positano, this is a great place to relax and enjoy some stunning private views of Positano away from the crowds. We felt very well taken care of by all the staff and enjoyed a nice slow dinner at the on-site restaurant. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar area.

We noticed a lot of noise through the walls from our neighbouring suite. We could even hear the cleaners next door very clearly in the morning. I know it's an old hotel but this might be something to consider renovating.

The property is very nice, it is spotless clean. The staff is great. They are very kind and very helpful. In order to get to the property you do need to climb a few stairs but it is not too bad. The view is excellent. The property is located about 20 min walking from center of Positano. It is a nice walk especially during the evening.

Although the property is nice and clean the walls are very thin. You can hear everything is happening on the hallway or the other rooms. We were provided with a nice room but it had two minuses. On top of the room was the sun terrace. At night it was very noisy and it was hard to have quiet because of the chairs that were moving on top of the sun terrace. Also the view was breathtaking but there was an electric cable that was crossing our balcony. It wasn’t a big deal but given the price we have paid it would have been nice not to see it at all.

The room was a very good size, we stayed in a twin room. The view was ridiculous! Great view of the city and ocean! Comfy beds, and excellent shower pressure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was quite good too, only a 5-10 minute walk down to the beach, and about 15 minutes or so to the main beach, depending which way you went. There are many restaurants just down and around the corner, and the restaurant at the hotel had an excellent view too!

The stairs back up from the beach were brutal! But the view from the hotel is very worth it! Breakfast was okay, it was the same every day. Processed meat, cheese, boiled eggs got a bit old during our 5 night stay. I ended up just having the dessert pastries every morning, which to be fair were really good. Other options were available, but weren’t included in the buffet breakfast included during our stay and I cured an extra cost.

It is really clean ane beatiful hotel. I really like all the tiles of the floor. It is so beautiful and clean. I will remember Positano surely. And the stuffs are so nice and helpful. We have porter to helo for luggage which is really great! The breakfast is nice with many choices, especailly for fruit which is really good. We had one dinner in the hotel, it is good service and nice food.

We have order one food from room service, but we are not notice for the service charge. It is fine with service charge, but if we can have some more clear information from menu, it will be good.

The hotel is very nice and the views are fantastic.

You have to climb like crazy from the beach to the hotel 🤯

We had a beautiful view with small balcony. Our large room had a queen size bed and a twin bed. All three of us slept comfortably. The porters and staff were wonderful. The breakfast was very good, multiple options.

When I booked the hotel, I did not know about the ~100 steps to the hotel. everyone in our group could manage the steps, so it was not a problem. But, for some families it could be a real issue for them. Maybe at booking make sure it is clear that guests must be able to climb multiple steps.

The location is very nice, although you need to take many stairs to the beach. Rooms are very nicely decorated. The restaurant offers good snack and normal menu. Hotel sent someone to assist with luggage over the stairs. The staff was friendly and described all routes to other locations very well

Check out is at 10:30, which is unusual. We asked for a later check out and they gave us time till 11:00. For the breakfast you have to ask the staff to give you food from the buffet. There was just one sort of white bread, which we didn't like at all. Bathroom had no window and remained humid all the time. The balconies at 5th floor are quite small. Not sure whether you can use sunbeds in the lower floors as it was cold anyhow.
