Large room, sparkling clean, very comfortable bed, fantastic shower and really wonderful host. I forgot my jewelry in the beside table and he arranged for it to be sent on to our next destination. Can’t thank him enough for going above and beyond. The host offers wine tastings from his family’s vineyard on site which we didn’t know about before arriving and were sorry not to have time to do one. Tip: if you are arriving by train get off at the Pompeii stop, not Pompeii Scavi-Villa. It’s an easy 6 minute walk to the BnB from Pompeii station and an easy 10 minute walk to a site entrance which is less congested than the first gate. Plus you get to see some of the town of Pompeii which was lovely.

I really enjoyed staying at Villa Ettore because it is as beautiful as you see it in the pictures, everything is newly renovated, it is very confortable and cozy, and super close to the city center and to one of the best entrances to the Pompei ruins. But what I liked even more is that the host, Stefano, was so kind and friendly and helped us with a lot of tips and recommendations, but most importantly he was so kind to take us to Naples airport because our flight was very early and even if there were some connections, I was pretty stressed and wanted to make sure we get on time for our flight. I definitely recommend staying at Villa Ettore.

Stefano was an amazing host. Met us when we arrived,showed us all we needed and advised on our activities and made sure we knew everything for our excursions. The facilities provided were brilliant. A selection of tea and coffee and breakfast bits. The croissants baked fresh each day were divine. Stefanos wife made them. We did wine tasting and were provided with snacks, including homemade mozzerella. Absolutely delicious. The room is a good size, same for the bathroom. The shower had lovely water pressure which was just what was needed after a long hot day. Highly recommend this villa and would definitely stay again

Stefano was a great host, he was easily reachable by whatsapp and gave us many helpful tips about what to do, where to eat and the best way to see the ruins. The room was is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The bathroom is large and the shower is almost a small room! Outside the room there is a shared kitchen with microwave, fridge and breakfast basics, but the real highlight was the breakfast crossiant that Stefano brings from a local bakery - easily the best pastry we ate in Italy! The accomodation felt secure, and is just a 6 minute walk from Pompeii train station, 10 minutes walk into town, and 15 minutes walk to two of the three entrances for the ruins.

The hotel and our room was really clean and fresh. It was run by a friendly family and there were only a few rooms so our stay felt really personal. Even though it was located near the road and train tracks we could never hear it from the inside. And even sitting outside on the balcony it was supprisingy peaceful. The AC was really good and a must when visiting in the summer! It was placed in the middle between the Pompeii ruins and the city, both easily reached after a short walk.

The room was not well isolated from the hallway. It was not a problem though becuase there were basically no activity there anyways.

We received a warm welcome by the host of the property who provided us with lots of helpful information for our stay. The property is located close to the centre of the town and about 6 min walk to the main entrance of the old town (ruins). The facilities were great and the room was very comfortable. We also very much enjoyed the fresh croissants provided :)

There were a couple of narrow stair wells to get to the room which was located on the upper level.

To begin with, the location of Villa Ettore is great. It is near to both the center of Pompei (8-10 mins) and the ruins (10 mins). Considering the room and the facilities of the villa, everything is clean and new. The room is well-equiped as well as there is a small kitchen with coffee/tea and snacks. Last but not least, Stefano is an amazing host. When we arrived, he assisted us with lots of useful information as well as recommended us a few places. The breakfast ... those croissants were one of the best which we have ever had. Finally, we will definitely recommend Villa Ettore to our family and friends. If we come again in Pompeii, we will prefer to stay in Villa Ettore.

There is nothing which we don't like. Everything is perfectly designed to the small detail.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Ettore! We both agreed that this was the nicest place we stayed during our trip to Italy by far. The room was beautiful and much bigger than our suite in Maiori that cost twice as much. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. We loved his close the place was to both the train station and the ruins. We would definitely stay there again.

beautiful villa, not too many rooms, about 5/6 I think. location is beyond perfect! Ruins are about a 15 min walk, so is the town centre of Pompei. Supermarket about a 10/5 minute walk away. Stefano was an amazing host, very helpful and happy to guide to to the best spots and restaurants in Pompei. I went to the Amalfi Coast on one day and Stefano sent me all the information on how to get there so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. would definitely stay here again if I revisited Pompei.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night the first weekend of October. We traveled during Covid measures so, we had breakfast in our room--very typical breakfast in Italy, a DELICIOUS cornetto & coffee. The room itself is large & comfortable. The bathroom was the NICEST & LARGEST bathroom we've ever seen from a BnB. Just like the photos--very modern & awesome shower. We arrived by car so we were able to park safely in the property. Location was great for us. Pompeii was just a short walk through the old centro. There were many restaurants & cute bars east of the property. Last, but not least, our lovely host was so helpful in recommending how to see Pompeii & which restaurants are good! Also, there is a big grocery store nearby if you prefer to buy water/food from there as well.

Our bedroom (with the large bathroom) wasn't pictured so I was expecting it to be modern like the bathroom, but it is a bit outdated. Still, the room was great.
