This is a great hotel with lovely gardens right opposite the Pompeii ruins and about a 20 minute walk from the train station where we travelled from Sorrento. It's also about 5 minutes from the cathedral and 10 minutes from another train station where you can go to Naples The staff were so helpful in giving information about a Vesuvius trip and let us leave our luggage before we checked in and with directions generally. Also the breakfast was great too with lots of selection and a really nice waitress.

Nothing, rooms were clean and comfortable

The breakfast was lovely - very fresh, many choices, egg and bacon for hot breakfast, all the usual choices like yogurt, fruit, croissants,?lovely fresh fruit salad, delicious bread and about 6 different cakes to try. Also had dinner there, sharing plate was massive, omelette was delicious. Waitress was lovely. The reception area and dining room were beautiful as was the outside garden and feel of the place. More than outweighed the old fashioned room. It is actually very close to the Pompeii train station on line 4 at the opposite end of the Pompeii ruins although the trains are not very frequent there. Wish we had realised that when we dragged our bags from the Pompeii Scavi station on line 1! It is based near the Pompeii amphitheatre entrance/ exit rather than the main entrance to the excavations

The room we stayed in was quite old fashioned and the air con was noisy. I understand they are refurbing the rooms slowly. The shower was tricky to get in and out of as the entrance was in the sloping area of the bath.

Hotel in a very convenient location, staff were lovely and very helpful. Bedroom was amazing! Super comfy, one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, wish we stayed longer.

Our expectations were very superseded. The staff were really lovely. Not just polite and efficient but really endearing. The garden is soooo relaxing. The entrance and bar cool and cosy. The bedroom facilities were everything we needed and more. A jacuzzi bath, individual room WiFi. Beds comfy and spotless. We were allowed a late check out. They spoilled the dog. Waiting, reception and housekeeping all sweet. Nothing too much trouble. Positioned right opposite the entrance to Pompie. A real gem. Highly recommended it.

The hotel was lovely and sat in a beautiful garden. The hotel was spotless and our room was very spacious. The bed was sooooo comfy. The staff were really helpful. I have to mention the restaurant staff - They were so lovely and extremely friendly and helpful. Also the cleaner was really friendly too.

I think, being English, we like to have a cup of tea first thing of a morning. There were no tea making facilities, however you could call for room service if wanted.

The breakfast was awesome - large variety of options and very fresh. it’s right next to one of the entrances to Pompeii.

The staff wasn’t as helpful as some other hotels we had been staying at during our trip. we had to ask about dinner recommendations, which I think they didn’t want to offer to call for a reservation for us because they had a restaurant in the hotel. We also had to ask for a city map and information about the park because they didn’t offer it up and then was the first hotel we had stayed at during the trip which didn’t offer to take our bags up ti the room. Then we had issues with the room keys.

Beautiful grounds, great location near one of the Pompeii ruins gates, very clean and comfortable room, very safe location. Breakfast was outstanding and I had dinner at the hotel and it was good with reasonable selections and a beautiful outdoor setting with lemon and other fruit trees. Check-in and check-out were pleasant and efficient, and they stored my luggage while I toured the ruins. There were snacks out in the late afternoon, which was a very welcome touch after a long day of sightseeing. The TV included international channels another nice detail as well as a robe in bathroom.

My room had an ugly view and I had to keep the drapes closed because others could look in. A bit hard to find as it was tucked away from the main street

Modern and comfortable. Rooms were nice and bed was great. Location is brilliant, right beside the quieter entrance to the ruins - although it is about 15 minutes from the Marine Gate where most tours etc meet. Food in the restaurant is very good.

Staff were a bit difficult, hard to find someone to order a drink or food and reception staff were more focused on admin than guest service. Probably not 4 star service.

When we arrived we were originally in a room facing the road, and I had requested a quiet one. They were fully booked, but the next day they moved us (literally took our cases and the things from the fridge) to a beautiful, quiet room that made our stay one that we didn´t want to end. It was a generous thing to do and we felt very welcome and appreciated. The room was more modern, too, and so pleasant to be in that we ordered room service each night (very good food, and the pizzas were absolutely authentically Neapolitan). We were able to recuperate well and enjoy walking for miles in Pompeii and Ercolano during the days. The car park is a two minute walk and secure, with cameras everywhere. You can unload at the hotel. There is a beautiful garden to sit in. Our dogs were welcome, the wifi was great. It´s under 10 minutes to walk to the train station behind the church, and about 15-20 minutes to the main Scavi train station. It´s very close to an entrance (not the main one, but it doesn´t matter) into the Scavi. We will come back and make sure that we book one of the modern rooms.

We loved it and I have nothing negative to say.
