Staying in a castle from the 900's is magical. Of course, it has been renovated with all modern conveniences. The meal we had the castello restaurant was the most memorable of our trip. Don't miss the free afternoon tour of the castello with Sebastiano - his enthusiasm is contagious and he is a wealth of knowledge. Great breakfasts too.

It was really atmospheric here and the dining experience felt very special. We loved the decor. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The air conditioning in our ( standard) room was on but did not appear to be cooling the room down. The bathroom might benefit from an upgrade ( but then I guess this unique accommodation would cost a lot more).

This was a repeat visit to the Castello and it did not disappoint. Incredible architecture, which is a visual feast to enjoy. Restaurant is top standard with silver service. We were the only guests on this particular night and breakfast was still provided plentiful and fresh. Staff are efficient, polite and very helpful.

Spectacular environment as it is unique and the staff are first rate.
I would have given a 10/10 if the air conditioning worked as expected. Otherwise the stay was absolutely impeccable and incredible. Will return for another stay.

The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff was nice. Its a beautiful castle.
The bedding was lacking in comfort and the shower hear wasn't mounted so it was hard to wash hair.

The restaurant is the best part of this hotel. All dishes were tasty. We really enjoyed our dinner. The hotel is located in a beautiful castle. Rooms are decorated like in a castle, it’s very nice and special. It was our second stay in this hotel and we hope to come back again.
The bathroom needs renovation. There was a spider net in the corner of the room.

Location, location, location. A really cute medieval castle perching on top of the hill, and carefully restored. What else do you need? The castle is beautiful and interestingly connected with the rock coming out of the hill and the surrounding village. the inner courtyard is beautifully preserved. Very romantic. Great restaurant (we went for dinner and enjoyed Plin) in a ground-level brick vault which may have been the storage room or a guard room. Prices are reasonable given how exceptional the location is.
