Rooms were spacious and had a fantastic balcony to sit and enjoy the best bottle of red wine we had in Sicily. The general manager (although he seemed to be receptionist, bell boy and waiter) could not have been nicer even going to nearby hotel to get the bottle of red wine we loved as he had run out. Location is fantastic for all the tourist spots. my favourite hotel of the trip

Breakfast was a little basic and could have had more staff, if only to ease the workload of the GM!

Everything! The location was fantastic just outside the walls of the old town. Loredonna and Dante could not have been more helpful with everything. The terraces are fabulous and great for spending an afternoon or evenings with a glass of wine.The breakfasts are very nice.

Nothing… just make sure if you have a car and need to park close to and use when you make your reservation as parking is available but limited

What a great view from the private terrace of our room! Stylishly presented throughout, very comfortable room, decent continental breakfast, helpful staff. And they do such a good job to provide off-road parking at the property right in the middle of the city. Location is great, right by the Norman Palace and with easy walks to the cathedral, restaurants, the opera house.

Fantastic location, very close to the historic centre, on a lively street with some great cafes but away from the chaos. The room was beautiful, really spacious and airy, super clean and a balcony. We loved the great water pressure in the bathroom and powerful air conditioning.

A cozy and charming B&B immediately outside the Porta Nuova. Just a few apartments, comfortable, with a good bathroom. The breakfast served at the terrace is a must, simple with few options but very good. I suggest the excellent cappuccino. If driving a car, try to reserve a place at the hotel (there are only 3 places). If you need suggestions, restaurants, places to go, Dante, the manager will do his best to solve any problem. Even without reservation, he managed to rearrange the cars at the parking to make an extra space for us.

The only "problem" is the distance from the hotel to the main points if interests and good restaurants. It is necessary to walk around 1 km to go to the most vibrant part of the city. It is possible to take a taxi but they are rather expensive.

The I Mori di Porta Nuova was perfect for our stay. Located at the entrance to the old town, this hotel has a personal touch with no request too small. The rooms are well provisioned, and soundproofed from the traffic outside. We didnt take breakfast at our own choice, but it looked excellent. The roof terrace is a great spot for relaxation or just having a drink. Would highly recommend

Very little. The rooms are small but not cramped. It is an old building that has been elegantly refurbished, so space is a premium. The walls between rooms are perhaps a bit thin, but if you dont lie in bed until 10-10.30, the movement of other persons wont bother you.

Nothing, everything was great

I loved the location...right smack beside one of the entrances to the old city. I was easily able to walk around the old city and the main restaurant streets. I loved the "feel" of the hotel...more like a B&B really...I had a spacious room and a huge balcony overlooking trees and a square. The breakfast was good every morning - and I enjoyed meeting other people staying in the suites while having breakfast together in the dining room. I appreciated that parking was free and right in the back of the property. There was also a nice hamburger truck there by the parking lot and I enjoyed a couple of lunches/dinners sitting there. There is also a great gelato front out front of the property. :)

Nothing at all.

We were greeted by Dante who was so welcoming and was always happy to help and friendly throughout our stay. Our family booked 2 rooms, one with terrace, one without. Both were tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The terrace was a great size and a comfortable place to enjoy the sun. Loved the fact that the simple breakfast was served on the roof terrace overlooking the Porta Nuova and with the smell of honeysuckle all around

The bathroom in one of the rooms was pretty tiny but it didn’t bother us at all

Superb location literally just outside the Porta Nuova with parking for the car in a locked parking area nextdoor. Easy walking to all of the old town and many restaurants. Very clean. We had a lovely roof terrace overlooking the Porta Nuova with sofa, chairs and table. There was a marvellous arancini place just around the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good double glazing which keeps out the noise of the city.

Not easy to find as it is tucked away and no clear instructions - it is in fact right next to the Porta Nuova in the tiny street on the left but you have to go round the block to get in. The air con was a bit temperamental and we spent one very hot night when it wouldn't work. There is a roof terrace and the cleaners start work before 730 am cleaning it and moving furniture especially after rain and that is really noisy. The lift didn't work for most of our stay and we were on the top floor. Breakfast was a bit sparse if you don't get there by 9am.
